Whats happening with me and some TV caps

Good morning, I am keeping myself busy even though the youth rugby season isn't over yet. Yesterday I saw The Impossible at Kilmarnock. That scenes were great but didn't expect that much blood. Today Frank and me are going to Balgarth. I did email them last month but they never replied. Last time we went, we couldn't get in. Tomorrow there is stuff on a club and Friday will be split. I have decided I am going upto New Media Breakfast on blogging. Even if I am not always great at networking at about 8am, these events are always informative. I hope they dont lose my badge this time. In the evening I am doing a fair amount of talking about next season. Saturday is Race Night and Sunday has youth rugby as well. Also last night and today I did some TV capturing. Started with Elizabeth Rizzini on BBC London with Riz Lateef in background image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host Next was Kasia Madera on BBC World News image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host Kaddy Lee Preston on South East Today image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host Rhona McLeod on BBC Reporting Scotland doing sport image host image host image host image host image host image host image host and finally but definately not least, Christopher Blanchett doing weather on Reporting Scotland as well. image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host image host and incase you need a laugh, watch Jack from last night, I did vote

Next we had Nicola Rees from Look North Yorkshire with Alex who is a professional, he is even going to drill Nicola, noooooo! and finally we have Juliette Parkin on South East Today (not South Today as Russell said) getting disrupted. This programme is always a good laugh. I was filming this last night Goodbye my friends.

This weekend

Hi folks, how are we all today. Well here is what I am doing this weekend:- First at about 2pm I am going to see Iron Man 3 at Ayr Then I go along to Millbrae for Ayrshire Schools Cup Final Tonight and good luck to Auchinleck and Cumnock Academy U16 team. Tomorrow is Ladies Day at club. All the tickets were sold (cheers Catriona). We have Ards and Cowal in the club. Should be a great day for rugby and the club itself. The hall looks great already. Saturday night (if I survive) its time for John McBlain, play the following link:-

Cumnock RFC Season 2012/2013 1st XV West 4 Champions, by the Webmaster

So you lot know I am rugby man, right (and yes I know I said I wouldn't talk much about rugby, but its been quiet inspiring lately). Well Thursday I got asked you want to goto Glasgow Warriors game Friday night, I jumped at the chance. There was also a bus going. So we went and saw Glasgow Warriors playing Ospreys and winning and making sure of a play off spot. We however got back at 11.30pm after our players got autographs from the Glasgow players. I hope Duncan Weir is getting better after the injury. I watched Smackdown when I got home after sorting out stuff for Saturday, to save me time the next day. So Saturday all we needed to be champions was get 4 tries or if they couldn't do that get a losing bonus point. Question I got in club was did I print out directions. We were getting a bus and I said I hadn't (we still had to ask for directions in Kilmacolm). We got to changing room. I later got ready for game and I got there for 2.45 kick off (I forgot to warm some of the support). We scored 2 tries in 15 minutes as reported on Cumnock RFC twitter. I am glad to say it has more followers than me now. I changed a few weeks ago to get someone to tweet live scores every 1st team game to make it different to facebook. We got already 30 more followers. Facebook just gets the result. It took a while 68 minutes to get 4 tries. But then the new hashtag #champions2013 came out on twitter. We ran in a few more tries. See the match report here. Mr @davidtkerr is the best writer we had ever had and does work on Cumnock Chronicle. Unfortunately Scottish coal being liquidated and making lots of people including some in rugby club redundant in this area on Friday night will keep him busier than rugby. Then Bill McMurtrie presented Campbell Reid with the trophy and then the boys got it. We went and got our food, had a visit to pub in Fenwick and headed back to club for 830pm. When we got back to club I got my video off dropbox and put it on usb drive and put it on television on bar, a 14 second loop and the boys just wanted to keep it playing. I left after a few pints. So Sunday I still had rugby that morning. We had Under 15 travelling at 830am in a bowl final, unfortunately the team got beat by a point. Our minis were playing and our team won, check the Primary 5 report. After the U15 came back I got told however the U16 Cougars had won Glasgow Division 2, which is a Cumnock/Kilmarnock composite. Now on Saturday I was very happy because 1st XV and a bit sad because U15 had lost narrowly but U16 winning titles and making Cumnock RFC #doublechampions makes me proud. I know, I know all the coaches and loads of the players and parents being the webmaster but I can honestly say (with a tear in my eye the now) that this is the proudest I have felt in the years at Cumnock Rugby Club (and I have been there since 1995). I joined the main committee in August 2008 and in June 2009 because of the websites I developed became webmaster for the whole club (including a webmaster report I do to Youth Committee and so serve there) so we would join in more together, not just seniors and youth just doing there own thing. Now parents of the youth section are fully fleged members of whole club, we have a massive Ladies Day on Saturday which will demonstrate that. This was an objective of mine and a few others, On Friday the Cumnock and Auchinleck Academies U16 play Largs Academy at Millbrae on Friday and this could be the third trophy associated with players of Cumnock Rugby Club. Even when I was ill in 2010, I still somehow kept in touch with them. So last night after the club stuff had finished I saw a band and "sung" star trekin and its chico time (except it's Tommy's time in my version). It was this morning I did all the reports I was sent Sunday and Monday morning and without all of them the website wouldn't be what it is now. I hope you understand me a bit better now. Thanks Tommy Cunningham Cumnock RFC Webmaster

Hello, Its wet today featuring @spotify @fatbuzz @cumnockrfc @cumnockchron and facebook

Well I havent been blogging much because I have been busy down at club. Well we need 1 league point from last 2 games even though we are 100% league record this season. The roadworks in middle of Cumnock last week were horrendous last week when the schools were off. The committee meetings and now on 2nd and 3rd Mondays of month (at least at the moment). I had to talk about this month that only 2 photos per age group are to be sent to Cumnock Chronicle as I sent too many on 18th March. It's also easier for me to pick as the journalists over there wouldn't probably have enough time to check them on dropbox (yes I use that now). Also on club front I changed slightly my strategy to twitter and facebook. During the 1st XV games I get someone tweeting live scores (which came in handy for Cumnock 128 Renfrew 0) and I just have to make sure the person doing it knows how to use it. I also discovered that following had got to 499 and mentioned the 500th follower Sandra Owens and in past two weeks we rose to 518 followers (the now). Today I am heading to Ayr to see Frank as it's lunch today and Frank says we are going outside Ayr (as long as I don't get wet). I am listening to Fatbuzz social media podcast the now and I agree I hate some of the changes they have been doing on facebook. They changed my timeline display on pc overnight, without warning. It thought I liked Jeremy Kyle (look at the top of my blog I dont). The admin panel is also worse it is do you want to promote a post or do you want to spend so much per day. I only use Pages Manager on my mobile to post score at the end. I dont use any other part of it, I get more detail when I look on pc and I can wait for that. The 1 thing I am pleased with my mobile is Spotify, they appear to have sorted out the undownloading tunes already sent from pc, so I dont lose the tunes I want minutes after leaving home. I am happy about that. Bye for now.

Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate

For about a week and a half I heard the royals were coming to Dumfries House so I decided to go out and see them. Soem of the volunteers had been there since 7.30am. I got there about 9.30am. Following are the photos of it being set up. At 11am the Royals arrived after the helicopter went overhead With the royals moving upto new centre that was being opened, I disapeared. There was not a lot of bump for a Princess due at end of summer, I wish her all the luck in the world.

Update on weekend there, sorry it's rugby

Well I promised you guys I would have a busy weekend. I was right. Now I know I don't normally talk all rugby, but after last weekend I need to this time. Friday went down to club before 2.30pm for U18 girls leaving after that. It was a very nice 30 seater from Liddells. We left at 3pm. We got to Murrayfield in good time. The traffic in wasn't too bad. The lassies were on 4g pitch and warmed up beside it. They did lose 39-17 to Gordon Schools at Huntly, but they were a very good side. The girls got runner-up medals and we headed back to Cumnock. Harry has been with me on all the trips this weekend and he took photos you have to be a member of the website to be able to see them as is the rule with all u18 pictures on our website. We got back to Cumnock at 10.04pm and that was day 1. Next day the 1st XV were away to Moffat. Tober was last to arrive at 11.20am, but Bobby even beat me to club and had the gear ready for 10am (but I did get an email at 9.30am at home I needed to put on website, straight away). We were travelling by bus via Muirkirk and M74 down to Moffat. While on the M74 we were worried Moffat would be covered in snow because the M74 certinally was. Thankfully it cleared up and we got a good day. Even towards end of the game the sun was out. That picture is when we arrived in Moffat. The boys warmed up. The referee society gave us a national 1 referee as this was a top of the table clash. The match report can be read here We got a lovely burger and chips after the match. It was very good grub. We came back on our coach from Moffat after 5pm and got back to Cumnock Rugby Club at 6.50pm. I got a few enquiries if Sunday was still on by text. I told them what I knew (hadn't heard anything) and when we got nearer Cumnock with snow I understood why there was worry. The boys enjoyed the victory and I left club about 8pm and went up the street. I was home by 11pm as that was only the end of day 2 out of 3. I had Dumfries next day. Sunday morning I woke up 7.20am as we were leaving club at 9am to goto Dumfries Tournament. I already had a text saying Dumfries was ok. We got our buses on time and got to Dumfries by 10.30am easily. All the Cumnock teams did well and thankfully for me, Mark did the P4 report. The ground in Dumfries was muddy and I had black jeans on during day. I had to wash them when I got home. We saw a lot of snow near Sanquhar when we came back up, but we were back at club 3.20pm. I went home and went and lay on my bed after that weekend. I got some sleep before my phone rang at 5.20pm and watched some telly before coming to computer at 8pm for match reports. I had more photos which I needed to upload and send on for Chronicle. I spent 2 hours on computer last night and an hour this morning. So that is the end of that rugby weekend. This is a little excel sheet what the 1st have left. Tonight I have a committee meeting at 7pm so I will catch up on some telly today. I finish with some Biffy Clyro as when Tober asked me a question Saturday on bus and my reply was "I have music on" as I couldn't hear him fully (I had earphones on).
