I am Thomas, I am the Webmaster (among other things) of Cumnock Rugby Club. I like TV and cap news (and other stuff sometimes), I like WWE but not soap operas or Jeremy Kyle. Enjoy

Hello folks
Right little update time again.
Health- I am feeling good again. But I don't like mature cheese. I just don't like it.
Just had one of my team today and she was ok how I am doing even though a couple of things have changed.
Rugby- I am keeping myself very busy there. Just finished my poster for October social events in the club. Friends and Formers Players Day, Quiz (now £150 approx), Halloween Party (organised by Girls teams). Also the use of Cumnock Academy cage has had some time devoted to that. Also the senior players/coaches/officials Curry Night at Jewel Restaurant in Cumnock to advertise. Also include me at games and helping in club. Don't worry, people keep an eye on me. I did a report for Cumnock Stormers this week and the Cumnock Chronicle added some of it's own words which I didn't like.
Music - I have lots of music on my phone, Calvin Harris, Usher, The Ghosties, Jon Allen, Emma's Imagination, Foo Fighters, Eminem, Katy Perry and Chasing Vegas
Thats me. You all take care out there.
Family - I am heading to see Sally on Saturday and coming back Monday. I hope she knows what she wants for her birthday!
Other stuff - Ryder Cup. Well done Graeme McDowell on scoring the point we needed on Monday.
I have watched the end of series 3 of Chuck. It's a good job I have sky or I wouldn't get series 4 as it is on Living from 14th October. I am looking forward to it (especially Stacy Kiebler in nerd herd uniform). My iphone I have got used to. Rugby scorer app doesn't work as the timer isnt accurate. Also tv wise really enjoying NCIS: Los Angeles and Stargate Universe and Smallville ofcourse.

New Media Breakfast #nmb , Glasgow Friday 24/9/10
Well I went to the #nmb this morning. I got up at 5.20am, got ready and headed on train at 6.30 (5 minutes from my house).
Got round to Royal Exchange Square easily but couldn't find 29 for a minute, it was my first time at the #nmb. I got up into main area and was pleased to see Kyle (after months of listening to social media podcast).
I got my fizz and bacon roll (which were really nice) and set my #iphone 3gs on #nmb as search (which helped later). Next Gordon started the event. As people will discover I do moderate comments on my own blog and check comments on forums and facebook which the rugby club has. I even typed into the #nmb search (and yes I am trying to change my twitter picture, #iphone pic is too large to upload (atleast on normal settings).
I understand that unmoderated clause legally I probably wouldn't have. I also wish my members would interact with me more on twitter, but facebook seems to be better for our message.
Video will become bigger, yes. I wondered on twitter, will the newtwitter help it get even more users?
Glasgowdotcom give free advertising to charities, that was good to hear for organisations in Glasgow. I enjoyed the people around the table with me (you might spot us in 1 of kyles photo)
It was a good event and got my things done in Glasgow after it.
Now I have a birthday present to deliver.

Hello

The health I am feeling better, a lot more energy to use.
Technology devices:-
Sky is great fun, I worked out not to try and watch 3 channels on sky as it cancels a recording. This means I sky+ a few things like the Stargate and Startrek franchises, rugby, football, NCIS: Los Angeles and music. It definately means I don't watch Jeremy Kyle Show.
I am definately getting used to #Iphone 3gs. Some of the apps are good and some aint. Dragon does not understand me (or it just doesn't understand west of scotland). I got told about rugby scorer app and the timer doesn't work. I also had to unlink foursquare to facebook. My o2 signal has been rubbish at home lately. The wifi is fine at home but currently my phone has no signal. The other main issue is battery power. I did buy an extra battery off ebay so that makes it easier.Good apps include the sky related ones, nextbuses which is useful when you have a bus pass. The mapping is really good as well.
My music gallery (which I need as radio station apps need wifi (which isnt largely publically used down here) has Usher, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Emma's Imagination, Eminem, Jon Allen and a few others.
I also use the phone for podcasts ofcourse. I listen to Chris Moyles, Social Media Podcast, the Thumbcast (thanks for getting me to watch Metropolis) and I am listening to quiet News day while I type this.
I have finally decided to go to tomorrows New Media Breakfast in Glasgow tomorrow. I have thought about going to this for a while. I have listened to just about all the podcasts. I will finally see some of the guys I listen to all the time.
As Cumnock RFC webmaster I use twitter, email, facebook, audioboo and club website via pitchero to communicate our message. I do have this little blog as well for me. I used to use it more with pictures but Iphone doesn't use blogger. I do have lots of time as I don't work due to health issues.
So this morning I had 3 health people to see, that's done now, tomorrow is Glasgow and a train at 6.30am tomorrow morning. Saturday I have bbq at woodroad park in Cumnock and Sunday Cumnock RFC with lots of games.

Update on little old me
I hope we are all good out there, just a quick update from me.
I have my sky in and I am enjoying it, I find lots of sci-fi to watch. It's good watching wwe again (and forwarding past adverts). It does take time to keep up especially with lots on espn and sky at the weekend.
I have also got an iphone. I ordered it on the Sunday online from o2 (which is good for signal). It also helps I have WIFI at home and Cumnock RFC, people in the club know the code. The trouble was I didn't receive it until Friday morning (when I was busy at home). That meant 4 nights when I had to wait in. I have kept the same mobile number, so don't need to send mass text to tell anyone I have new number.
The only other trouble is BATTERY POWER, I go through it very quickly. I took a 2 youtube videos on Saturday (they wern't great). Also I have twitter sorted on it and I have some eminem album on fae itunes.
The health is feeling better, I can stay standing for longer and a bit of walking. Having the buspass definitely has it's uses. I aint watching the STV Nightshift as much now.
The INR level is fine as well, so we are good.
Ofcourse I am getting more to do in Cumnock RFC as well with the season starting at haste now. This Saturday the S1 and older have a sponsor day where they buy a £2 ticket and get a couple of goodies. Checking the club news on pitchero and facebook gives details. Committee meetings are going as well, where we are definitely busy.
That's it from me, you all do well out there.

My weekend
That was quite a weekend.
As you can see from earlier in the blog Cumnock RFC played Marr. Marr are a good team but the boys have been worked hard. Both teams were out. Sally was coming to visit me at 4pm so I left the game a few minutes early to get up the hill. I have a chair to watch the rugby as well and its nice and light to carry.
Next I went home in Auchinleck as Sally was due. I had a banana sandwich (Harry) and some tea. Sally, Alex and Xander arrived and we headed to mum's. Unknown to most of you (atleast online) I was heading to Fife to give someone a surprise. Mum and Andy had just been to Ireland for a holiday. Their bus driver was not good. After a couple of hours I left with Alex and co.
We got to Fife and had a lovely piece of meat for supper and a Caffreys.
I watched Match of the Day and there was some fine goals that night. It was a good day and I had a fairly good sleep, my usual.
On Sunday I had my usual cereal then a fry-up (grilled). My nephew David is 19 years old in a few weeks and I was going to get his birthday present with him on Sunday as well.
David my brother with Terri had said he was coming down to Sally's. When David arrived I got warned he was here and gave him a big surprise by saying hello. The look was great. That's why I didn't publicise the trip. I heard how David was as he had been in hospital (It takes quite a bit to get me making this kind of trip, but David is one of them).
After that David (nephew) and me headed to Kirkcaldy to get his birthday. David got some footwear and DVD (I think). The trip around shops did tire me out. I won't really do that kind of shopping trip again. We went back to Leven when we were done and I stayed in for rest of the night.
Today as you can see I went from Glenrothes to Glasgow then Glasgow to Auchinleck. Cheers to Sally for lift to Glenrothes.

Chicken curry
Well for dinner tonight I had a chicken curry. My team came in early. It took 20 minutes per 500 grams in the oven and it was nearly 1.5kg so it eventually took 1 hour 30 minutes. The rice took 15 minutes. We also had tomatoes, mild curry powder, onions and oil. I couldn't finish it, I enjoyed it that much.
