Wednesday 18th April and beyond

I know its late, but I aint tired yet. Well tonight was the Cumnock RFC monthly Quiz. There was me, Barclay and Rodger in our team and we only finished 3rd, not far behind though. Worst bit for me was Play Your Cards Right. I was put up and I usually try to be logical on numbers and direction to go. I got to the last card to turn with a 6 and asked higher or lower. I went higher. It went 4. It was for £150 (between 3 of us). A few weeks ago in Royal I won £27 for play your cards right for 8 of us = a pint each (not £50 each). Other stuff thats happening, well still enjoy NCIS and the usuals. Homeland has got good again. Above is Sharon Frew, Wendy Hurrell, Holly Hamilton and Sarah Cruickshank (who I had a good conversation on twitter this morning, cheers from a non speaking gaelic scotsman). I also today did a long email on rugby, you can basically check it via my club news article here As I said I emailed it, unfortunately for some people it was through about 4 different lists on my email account and so they got it multiple times. This afternoon I made it 1 whole list. That should make them happier. Next week is busy for me. On Tuesday I go to Braehead Arena to see JLS (start slagging me now). I booked my hotel in Glasgow already for a very competitive price. I hope I enjoy it. It was back in December I booked for the event. On the Friday (27th April) I am going to New Media Breakfast at Glasgow, so that means Friday get up around 6am (earlier than my normal get up time). It is on facebook, so I am looking forward to it. I have enjoyed some of the changes that have been made to it. After that I have lunch in Ayr around 1pm. I hope it isnt raining too much in Glasgow that morning because I wont want to feed my face all day. So here hope I get tired soon and I will see you all soon.

hello - its update time

How are we all out there, I know I havent kept you upto date lately, so here goes. I finished the physio class a week and a bit ago. It was good and has improved my flexibility and Dancing a little. It was good fun (apart from dodging everyone because of my long legs, arms and height). I was the only one who couldnt bounce high on trampoline because the ceiling was about a foot away.

Spotify continues to give me good tunes, thank you. Its better than itunes. I had to buy a new spare battery for my phone because older one stopped working. When the phone dies, the phone dies. I had good lunch with Frank last week. Good fun and conversation. Cumnock RFC keeps me busy as ever. I had the Shaw today for eye test. Everything is the same as before about 15 months ago, so thats good.

I like the new panel on American Idol, The Dawg is still bril but adding Jlo & S Tyler was a great move. I am a Scotty McCreary fan. He should stick to what he is doing (C&W).

House, NCIS:LA, NCIS is back on my viewing list as well.

Now I have Law and Order UK on ITV London as STV aint showing the new series, so I am away to watch it. See you all later.

Morning, it's Sunday 20th February

Hello guys and girls, I hope you are all well.

I have 2 weeks of cardio physio class left and I feel better for it, even after the up down a step at 3/4 speed. Its talk next week so I will be down there from about 10am to 1pm.

I am definately glad that House, NCIS Los Angeles is back on sky and Hawaii 5-0 is a good addition to that list. On Tuesday/Wednesday I watched all the audition shows and first hollywood week programme of American Idol. It is a good judging panel after goodbye, Mr Cowell. I have 4th day still to watch this week. I do have a pile of The Chaser to watch as well.

I am definately glad on a rugby front that Alex Dunsmuir is back, it makes life just a bit simpler for me. Today there is no rugby at Cumnock today, so I aint down today. Unfortunately the results for Cumnock RFC were not very good (thats me trying to be very positive). So today I get to watch Celtic vs Rangers at home.

Yesterday I went to Coatbridge for the Waysiders/Drumpellier vs Cumnock Stormers game and got back to club after six and headed home for a bath. After which I went back to Cumnock and enjoy Dr Jon as normal and his music. If your lucky enough to follow me on twitter, you will see most of his tunes via shazam (I don't put them on facebook). My shazam list has also been increasing.

The other thing I got interested this week is The Rock is back home and hosting Wrestlemania 27 and announced it on Raw earlier on the week. Also Tinie Tempah did the theme tune to WM27.

I have a senior committee meeting tomorrow night, so that will be it's usual fun.

How are we all out there.

The health I am feeling better, a lot more energy to use.

Technology devices:-

Sky is great fun, I worked out not to try and watch 3 channels on sky as it cancels a recording. This means I sky+ a few things like the Stargate and Startrek franchises, rugby, football, NCIS: Los Angeles and music. It definately means I don't watch Jeremy Kyle Show.

I am definately getting used to #Iphone 3gs. Some of the apps are good and some aint. Dragon does not understand me (or it just doesn't understand west of scotland). I got told about rugby scorer app and the timer doesn't work. I also had to unlink foursquare to facebook. My o2 signal has been rubbish at home lately. The wifi is fine at home but currently my phone has no signal. The other main issue is battery power. I did buy an extra battery off ebay so that makes it easier.Good apps include the sky related ones, nextbuses which is useful when you have a bus pass. The mapping is really good as well.

My music gallery (which I need as radio station apps need wifi (which isnt largely publically used down here) has Usher, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Emma's Imagination, Eminem, Jon Allen and a few others.

I also use the phone for podcasts ofcourse. I listen to Chris Moyles, Social Media Podcast, the Thumbcast (thanks for getting me to watch Metropolis) and I am listening to quiet News day while I type this.

I have finally decided to go to tomorrows New Media Breakfast in Glasgow tomorrow. I have thought about going to this for a while. I have listened to just about all the podcasts. I will finally see some of the guys I listen to all the time.

As Cumnock RFC webmaster I use twitter, email, facebook, audioboo and club website via pitchero to communicate our message. I do have this little blog as well for me. I used to use it more with pictures but Iphone doesn't use blogger. I do have lots of time as I don't work due to health issues.

So this morning I had 3 health people to see, that's done now, tomorrow is Glasgow and a train at 6.30am tomorrow morning. Saturday I have bbq at woodroad park in Cumnock and Sunday Cumnock RFC with lots of games.
