My past week.

Hello everyone how are we all.

Well lets talk about whats been happening.

I tried to make during the week fairly quite.
Tuesday I went down to Cumnock to talk to friends during day and give over @wwe over. It helps there is a bus at 10.55 behind my house and I'm at that bit of Cumnock by 11.30 so that is good.

I didn't have too much to deal with after mini-midi meeting so not too long on pc that day.
Wednesday was fairly quite as well, just keep on trying to catch up what I am recording (which is a battle at the moment). I still have all the free movies weekend movies to watch. I am at 65% free at the moment.

Thursday I was busy, I got my ticket for Scotland vs New Zealand for this Saturday. I had each as well including a new physio class. It was alright apart from my lack of balance (which I am told is normal at start of class).

Friday is when the BBC Strike started. I kept checking through the day what the bbc channels were doing. 5 minute news meant I had to do a lot of quick flicking in a short time.

I gave John Mackay of STV News a #followfriday and he gave me one back as he watches me meander through life. I was quite surprised at that comment.

Saturday was rugby day. GHA Gazelles cancelled the game up there for 2nd team Saturday morning due to waterlogging so that left the 1st xv and a game against Millbrae.

The Cumnock team got beat, but at least the games on Sunday went fairly well.

On Saturday night I headed to Mauchline and saw Vendetta Scotland.
The band were ace. It was a fairly good night and the last bus being 1140 is an improvement on Cumnock when it's 1055. You don't feel as if your leaving early, like you do feel at Cumnock.

Sunday me and Ian went to WWE smackdown at Braehead. That was fun. There was some good matches and John Macintyre from ayrshire was ace. I like the Big Show has ate Haggis.

Listen!

So a good time was held by all.

Yesterday was rugby website day. Pitchero have a version 2 out and it went live yesterday morning. I have had a few issues with the new version which kept me on pc most of Monday morning and my phone is beeping a lot with email notifications and I had to go back later in the day as well. I switched off new mail beep when I went to bed last night.

Now I am going to try and get opinions on what our club members think about Pitchero Version 2, through initially this week.

My past weekend

Well above is some photos I took over the weekend.

On Saturday I didn't head for rugby I had other plans. I had heard an advert on radio about a shop doing half price for halloween outfits.

I headed to Ayr and got there about 1230. Ayr Races was on the same day but as you can see from the pics the car park wasn't full yet when I passed, but traffic was busy around there.

I got an outfit for £10 so I was quite happy. Next once I worked out where to get lunch I enjoyed it.

I headed to Rabbies Bar in Burns Statue Square for the Butlins reunion. Met some people I knew already and lots I didn't really know. It was good fun but I knew I had halloween parties in Cumnock at night when some more people were arriving I knew. It was still good to be there.

I headed home, got changed into my Scream suit. Trouble with that suit is that the eye holes were really small and when I removed the mask my glasses steamed up, so I wore it on my head most of the night.

I headed down to rugby club for 7pm for 1st halloween party and started on Irn Bru. I did some talking to mates and found out about how the senior teams did (both lost). I got a report from Bobby verbally and I sent it to the Cumnock Chronicle for him Sunday (audioboo does have it's uses but I don't tend to publish that audioboo).

It was about 9pm I left to go to Royal Hotel and Cancer Research Halloween Party, organised by David Kerr. It's was good fun, saw lots of mates.

On Sunday I watched some telly in morning from my planner. I even watched Newcastle hammer Sunderland. I tweeted into Fanzone talking about Bardsley before Newcastle was scoring goals for fun. They called me a "Sunderland Fan", maybe I should have tweeted in a Rangers Fan. I was texting my cousin who supports Newcastle and Rangers who agreed with me. I still felt sorry for the Sunderland commentator on Fanzone having to stay there.

So on media I got mentions on Scrum V fanscene Scarlets vs Glasgow (I didnt like that full back), Colin Mcardle on Snorkel Bingo on West FM Saturday morning and Fanzone on Sky, Sunday. Not bad for a weekend.

I headed back down to club Sunday night to get list of players from Saturday game and afterwards I went upto Sun Inn and got my photo of staff in their costumes. Only thing I didn't like was not getting up as the pub was busy.

I came home and thank fully found all the teams playing Sunday won and played well which is more important as I have mini/midi committee meeting tonight and I have gas check tomorrow, great.

I also got told on twitter my blog was cool by Alexander Jones, thats the first time that's happenned, so thank you.

This week so far

Health is ok the now, still feel fine.

On Tuesday I was down at rugby club watching new tills come in. It lasted for a while but we got there. My team got me there and I got home in time for dinner. Went to quiz Tuesday night and we were 2nd or 3rd. I got bus home with 1 minute to spare.

Wednesday I caught up with some telly. Saw Stuart (a regular reader of this) and did wwe stuff.
I went back home and watched even more telly until 7pm where I headed for Club. It was quiz night and our team won again. Watching Batman movies may not be great, but you know who the pengiun is.

Thursday morning I was at EACH for 915. Got my bloods done and got a physio assessment. There is a class in afternoon that I can goto to see how I actually am physically. One of the physios I already knew from time in hospital.

Thursday afternoon I headed to Glasgow and Braehead. As some of you know me and Ian are going to WWE Smackdown, but I had never been to Braehead arena, but I know now how to get in.

I headed back to Glasgow on the bus and got lunch. Trouble was when I was at lunch this place had wifi but I couldn't use twitter, grrr.

At 7pm Tron Legacy was being shown at Glasgow Science Centre IMAX. As you guys may have known I had a free voucher to see 23 minute preview which opens fully on my birthday. When we went to seats we were told it was a sell out. I think what happenned was all the vouchers were taken but not everyone came because there was seats left. Now this is my first 3d movie and as you know I wear specs. When text came on the screen I know I had to put my normal glasses on and the IMAX 3d specs fit infront of normal glasses.

The film looks amazing (I opened my mouth at 3d graphics and the prespective (wow!)). Some of it is in 2d but you still keep glasses on. The screen is HUGE. The staff in Glasgow Science Centre are really helpful, bubbly (even the projectionist) who was getting people watching the film to talk on camera. I had said no to it. I dont tend to do cameras. I promised at the end I would do a blog on it, so here it is.

I headed back to Glasgow and got 9pm bus to Kilmarnock then headed for train station as I discovered there was a 9.51pm train to Auchinleck which gave me 10 minutes to get from Bus Station to Train Station. Did that easily.

Right I am going to do my twitter #followfridays next:-

I use followfriday for people who actually interact with me (with only a few exceptions) so if you want on this list, interact with me (that excludes spammers)!

Tomorrow, Butlins reunion at Rabbies Bar Ayr in afternoon, better not drink too much Irn Bru. Next Cumnock RFC Halloween Party and Charity Halloween Party at Royal.

Sunday just quite day down at rugby.

You all have a great Friday.

Update on Saturday 23 October

Hello all you out there, havent done this for a small bit of time.

Firstly yesterday was Sally and my brother who did last years birthday so I took flowers upto the graveyard. I used one of my team to take me there and back. I took a quick picture of the flowers for some family members.

On Wednesday I went for lunch with a friend in Prestwick, Flannigans, it was really nice. We both had car disabled badges so could park in a disabled spot. I also bought hat and gloves in Primark for me (in Ayr)and went down to Bella Home and said hello to Christopher who I do speak to on twitter.

I have been watching on the telly Stargate Atlantis. If you all remember I don't like Jeremy Kyle and basic most daytime telly, but I do like science fiction.

I also watch House, Dancing with the stars, Stargate Universe, Chuck series 4, Drop Dead Diva, Law and Order UK, rugby union. Oh yeah and tomorrow I will be sitting in my chair watching Rangers vs Celtic because pubs usually go mad at some point.

On the news front I have been watching East Midlands Today, London News, South East Today and some Reporting Scotland and STV News at Six.

Also something went mad on my youtube channel. Matt Goss said Susannah Reid had nice legs and I recorded that and put it on youtube and it's the most hits I have ever had on my channel.

Today I am going up with 1st XV of Cumnock RFC to Strathendrick in Fintry. My shirt is already ironed for it. We are using a bus to get up there.

Next week will probably be mad, with quiz wednesday for £150 at Cumnock RFC, Thursday with Tron Legacy in Glasgow and Saturday with halloween.

My weekend just happenned

Hello, well as we all know I planned to visit Sally and family in Fife on Saturday, Sunday and come home Monday. So 9.45am I headed on bus to Glasgow. I got a quick connection and arrived at Leven at 1.30pm. I know because my mum phoned me when I got there.

Me and Sally went to Kirkcaldy and did some fashion shopping. As I was doing the picking it took 15 minutes (I know what I like). Foursquare decided I couldn't load where I was but facebook could. My nephew David liked that straight away. The hairdressers we went to for Sally's hair to get done was very professional.

We went back to Leven for tea and I relaxed for the rest of the evening. Watched bits of Strictly Come Dancing and even some X Factor before I turned it off and watched Casualty.

So Sunday morning I relaxed, watched Vettel win. In afternoon had small lunch then we headed out. Went to Kirkcaldy for garden stuff, where this happened:

As part of the tour we went to Anstruther as well. The cannon there is very loud. Main problem for me in there was severe lack of mobile coverage apart from near Ship Tavern (I think). It even had public wifi I could pickup on.

I took a number of pictures as well which is at the top of this blog.

We headed out of the busy Anstruther and ate the food at Pittenweem. My fish supper was amazing. Great fresh fish.

Then we headed back to Leven where my brother David and fionce Terri came and visited. I just relaxed the rest of the night before I headed home today. It was cloudy in Fife but road down from Glasgow was very sunny.

I even recorded a audioboo in Glasgow

Hello folks

Right little update time again.

Health- I am feeling good again. But I don't like mature cheese. I just don't like it.
Just had one of my team today and she was ok how I am doing even though a couple of things have changed.

Rugby- I am keeping myself very busy there. Just finished my poster for October social events in the club. Friends and Formers Players Day, Quiz (now £150 approx), Halloween Party (organised by Girls teams). Also the use of Cumnock Academy cage has had some time devoted to that. Also the senior players/coaches/officials Curry Night at Jewel Restaurant in Cumnock to advertise. Also include me at games and helping in club. Don't worry, people keep an eye on me. I did a report for Cumnock Stormers this week and the Cumnock Chronicle added some of it's own words which I didn't like.

Music - I have lots of music on my phone, Calvin Harris, Usher, The Ghosties, Jon Allen, Emma's Imagination, Foo Fighters, Eminem, Katy Perry and Chasing Vegas

Thats me. You all take care out there.

Family - I am heading to see Sally on Saturday and coming back Monday. I hope she knows what she wants for her birthday!

Other stuff - Ryder Cup. Well done Graeme McDowell on scoring the point we needed on Monday.
I have watched the end of series 3 of Chuck. It's a good job I have sky or I wouldn't get series 4 as it is on Living from 14th October. I am looking forward to it (especially Stacy Kiebler in nerd herd uniform). My iphone I have got used to. Rugby scorer app doesn't work as the timer isnt accurate. Also tv wise really enjoying NCIS: Los Angeles and Stargate Universe and Smallville ofcourse.

New Media Breakfast #nmb , Glasgow Friday 24/9/10

Well I went to the #nmb this morning. I got up at 5.20am, got ready and headed on train at 6.30 (5 minutes from my house).

Got round to Royal Exchange Square easily but couldn't find 29 for a minute, it was my first time at the #nmb. I got up into main area and was pleased to see Kyle (after months of listening to social media podcast).

I got my fizz and bacon roll (which were really nice) and set my #iphone 3gs on #nmb as search (which helped later). Next Gordon started the event. As people will discover I do moderate comments on my own blog and check comments on forums and facebook which the rugby club has. I even typed into the #nmb search (and yes I am trying to change my twitter picture, #iphone pic is too large to upload (atleast on normal settings).

I understand that unmoderated clause legally I probably wouldn't have. I also wish my members would interact with me more on twitter, but facebook seems to be better for our message.

Video will become bigger, yes. I wondered on twitter, will the newtwitter help it get even more users?

Glasgowdotcom give free advertising to charities, that was good to hear for organisations in Glasgow. I enjoyed the people around the table with me (you might spot us in 1 of kyles photo)

It was a good event and got my things done in Glasgow after it.

Now I have a birthday present to deliver.

Hello

NCIS: Los Angeles title cardImage via Wikipedia

How are we all out there.

The health I am feeling better, a lot more energy to use.

Technology devices:-

Sky is great fun, I worked out not to try and watch 3 channels on sky as it cancels a recording. This means I sky+ a few things like the Stargate and Startrek franchises, rugby, football, NCIS: Los Angeles and music. It definately means I don't watch Jeremy Kyle Show.

I am definately getting used to #Iphone 3gs. Some of the apps are good and some aint. Dragon does not understand me (or it just doesn't understand west of scotland). I got told about rugby scorer app and the timer doesn't work. I also had to unlink foursquare to facebook. My o2 signal has been rubbish at home lately. The wifi is fine at home but currently my phone has no signal. The other main issue is battery power. I did buy an extra battery off ebay so that makes it easier.Good apps include the sky related ones, nextbuses which is useful when you have a bus pass. The mapping is really good as well.

My music gallery (which I need as radio station apps need wifi (which isnt largely publically used down here) has Usher, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, Emma's Imagination, Eminem, Jon Allen and a few others.

I also use the phone for podcasts ofcourse. I listen to Chris Moyles, Social Media Podcast, the Thumbcast (thanks for getting me to watch Metropolis) and I am listening to quiet News day while I type this.

I have finally decided to go to tomorrows New Media Breakfast in Glasgow tomorrow. I have thought about going to this for a while. I have listened to just about all the podcasts. I will finally see some of the guys I listen to all the time.

As Cumnock RFC webmaster I use twitter, email, facebook, audioboo and club website via pitchero to communicate our message. I do have this little blog as well for me. I used to use it more with pictures but Iphone doesn't use blogger. I do have lots of time as I don't work due to health issues.

So this morning I had 3 health people to see, that's done now, tomorrow is Glasgow and a train at 6.30am tomorrow morning. Saturday I have bbq at woodroad park in Cumnock and Sunday Cumnock RFC with lots of games.
