Saturday 7th August

Well another Saturday has come. This week has been fairly quite. I just kept myself busy with Cumnock RFC website. Pitchero loaded in the scottish reserve leagues (2nds) so I could add them. I decided after talking to friend NOT to head to Clydebank 10s as I wasn't sure (and I have something on tonight). I have also THANK YOU PLAYERS for memberships to add. I paid mine a few weeks ago. I also had a bit of work to do on mini/midi registration day.
On the other front I have received my buspass, which is making life easier. Also with a bus through Backrogerton (the area of town I live in) that helps as well. My INR was fine on Thursday so I aint there for a few weeks but I have a ECG 24 hour recording next week. My sleep until last night had got better after coming back from Sally's.
The Auchinleck Festival started last night with the Macdonald Brothers. I know some people had a good night with seeing people pass after 2am on their way home. I didn't go to community centre to see them. The LaFontaines are on The Railway Hotel tonight and I am looking forward to it. Depending on how I feel tomorrow I may go down and watch The Ghosties at Talbot Park.
I hope you all have a good weekend!

Bouncy castle with Alex & Sally
I went on Saturday with Richard to Dunfermline to watch The A Team. Some of the action in that movie is amazing, its not just a copy of TV series which some of us will remember.
On Sunday we had Richard +1, David, Xander Sally's boys. We had Alex, David, Terri, Sally, Mum Isabel, Andy, me all there.
It was very busy. Mum and Andy had done all the food and you can see the bouncy castle above.
It was a good party and we left Monday morning and now I am home. I have even just had a snooze.

Fridays dinner
After talking to my sister Sally and discovering what I am eating this weekend I agreed me having pizza tonight would be a good idea.
So this is my form of tomato, pineapple and cheese. I dont really do mushrooms, but I do like pineapple which is the change in the recipe.
It wasn't bad. Now I am waiting about before I head over to sisters.

A busy week ahead
Oh it looks as if I am going to have a busy week ahead (which we have been planning for a few weeks).
While I do this blog I am listening to @ms_cornwall on blip fm
Tomorrow I have 1 of my daily team at 9.30am to 10.30am. Next I have another member of the team at 11am. I am scheduled to get a 48 bus to Ayr at 12.15pm to head for lunch. I should get there at about 1.15. I havent seen this mate in a few years, I am looking forward to it.
I will head back around 3.15pm to Auchinleck, not going near Mauchline where the roadworks are the now. At night I have the Cumnock RFC Monthly Quiz at 8.15pm which my team usually does well.
Thursday should be fairly quite. I have to collect some items from a shop and not a lot else. I got a week off East Ayrshire Community Hospital. Oh yeah and I will have a birthday present to wrap.
Friday for most of the day should be fairly quite. I have my team for the day before I get taken to my sisters in Leven, Fife. I was looking up google maps today and I don't really like street view on it. Saturday looks good if you can find the A Team and Sunday I have a birthday party to head to. On Monday night if I am back I have a committee meeting for the mini/midi section.
So you think I will be busy.

Update time
Well I have been trying to stay quite this week. My appointment down at East Ayrshire Community Hospital in Cumnock went well yesterday, I aint there next week. I spoke to a friend called Frank who I haven't seen for a while and I am going to (probably) have lunch next week with him.
My sleep patterns seem to be getting better which is a relief. Wednesday to Thursday was only twice and Thursday to Friday was straight through. I did karaoke last night as well with Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day which was my usual way.
On the rugby front the fixtures appear to be done now but now I hope the members get paying their memberships as I have started to do the list. The preseason games start in a couple of weeks. Apart from that I have tried to do nothing at night.

Thursdays dinner

It was more pasta with tin of tomato, onion, herbs, mince. It was very filling, I couldn't finish it with orange juice, it was just too filling. Still good though.
Today was a bit busy. Me and my team had to top up my phone. I had some appointments I got notified for. We also got more mince which was used above. My Printer arrived today and was working fine I think until I took it off the wrong port. Its working fine now. I also did not lift printer up my stairs, it was a bit big (or the box was).
I have some visits quite soon as well.

My week so far
Friday was cool, did a small bit of rugby club as fixtures changed again. I am getting a new printer for home so thats good.
On Saturday I had Sally, Alex, Richard and Xander. It had been cloudy all day and was still wet. Ian came down and we watched Germany 3rd place playoff and I watched Star Trek IV.
Sunday I saw my cousin Peachy and watched Spain win.
Yesterday I didn't do much as I have to readjust to getting up about 8am. I watched Chuck which I enjoy. Today I have been to Tesco, Auchinleck Library and back home with my team. I got notification I am getting DLA now which has got me in a good mood. The sniffer dogs have been down my street, but not up my end of the street.

Wednesday 7.10pm 07/07/10
Well I felt like typing the now, doing some updating. The health has been ok as far as I know. My blood pressure is ok and I am feeling fine. Sunday I went to Kilmarnock and saw Twilight: Eclipse The romance bit was integral but the action was good, not fake. Next went back home after taxi in kilmarnock from Bel-air taxi company, very good guys. It was raining a bit as well when I went to the Odeon and I wasn't walking, no chance.
I came home on bus which stops right next to my street in Auchinleck. Next I relaxed, had dinner and went to
Cumnock RFC. I knew the fixtures were due out as it is always this time of year they come out. Alex was on bar so he could give me and rest of 5 o'clock club them. It certainly has gave us some games. I had a couple of pints. I then went to
Royal Hotel, met Ian there, quickly followed by The
Sun Inn. Ian did loads of songs and I did Bonkers by Dizzee Rascal. I was drinking coca cola by now. I went home 9.30pm after a busy day.

Monday I got up on time as I knew I had a lot of appointments at home then, especially for afternoon. One of my team as normal came in 9.30am asking how the weekend had went, we had a phone call to deal with which was resolved very well. I then stayed around the house as I had an appointment with social worker (just no time, she is very busy).
That day I archived my rugby emails from last season and delete the rest. I dealt with 400 emails (phew) and the new fixture list which I formatted my normal way. Another member of my team came in 4pm saying worker hadn't been in and we phoned her, she was coming in a few minutes, she is a VERY BUSY lady. Whilst this was happening I was making my dinner. Its great fun cooking, really.
The social worker came, but it was starting to get a bit mad as she said community alarm was coming in. They came in and we tested it and I got my instructions, this was while I was doing my dinner. I had 4 different women in my home at the same time, never said that before. The Community Alarm staff explained what happened when I used the system after we sorted the cabling, which gave issues with my pc (grrr).
My cabling in the house wasn't great with trailing cables for broadband. The social worker had a quick chat, so that went well, she is brilliant. Next I sat down and enjoyed by dinner after all that activity, I got my broadband back on and planned for next day.
On Monday night I planned for Fish Pie for dinner Tuesday night, including what I needed to cook it in (I needed a pyrex dish) and how me and team would accomplish it.
Tuesday morning I felt a bit tired, I knew Community Alarm was coming in afternoon, I made breakfast before my team came in, we went out, we got pyrex dish at
Tesco and after checking I discovered got telephone cable from mum's to correctly cable.
Tesco and after checking I discovered got telephone cable from mum's to correctly cable.
After we got home we did the cabling. We brought fish out to defrost from freezer. After team left I had an hours snooze as all I knew it was afternoon, so it was before afternoon. It was about 3.30pm when Community Alarm came out, we tested it and it was only a quick visit.
After that my team came in and we made the Fish Pie, it was bland and the time for cooking potatoes is wrong, it takes a lot longer. and so did the Fish Pie.
After eating dinner I got full list of fixtures from SRU and typed them out for rugby website on excel and I went down to Cumnock RFC.
Today when I slowly woke up to radio, the team came in as normal and I just relaxed this morning, it had been a bit interrupted last night. I had visitors at 1.30pm from NHS, everything went ok, we sorted out how I get back from East Ayrshire Community Hospital tomorrow and what we are really doing then, which is good. We got line I needed and it will be passed onto social worker tomorrow. It's took me an hour to type this! phew!

Wednesday and Thursday
On Wednesday we went shopping me and support went shopping. I still have a limit on how much standing/walking I can do physically. We finished the shopping with the correct stuff even with rubbish labels in lidl. We got home and i relaxed some more and we MADE spagbol for dinner from scratch after 4pm with my support (I have to know whats in it). It was great. Last night I went to the rugby club quiz and the team I was in won.
Today was a bit harder. I went to East Ayrshire Community Hospital for INR check (it was ok) with my support. Next I waited for a bus, it was 30 minutes after the test. After that I was tired I was going to Cumnock Health Centre for prescription (it wasn't ready). I taxi'd home and sat down. My support was in later and I told them what happenned. I finished my spagbol for dinner tonight (more economical) Tonight I relax.

Im home
Yes I am finally home after all that lovely time at Ayr Hospital. It has been a busy afternoon, I had some beans for dinner. I didn't eat much.
It has been a busy afternoon so the energy levels arent great. I weighed myself with my new scales and I am 73kg. The picture is me at my living room. Ive had visitors I was suppose to get already, so that was good. Having to watch salt is going need some work.
Andy Murray is winning the now. I will have visitors nearly every day now, thats how its set-up. I DONT WANT TO GO BACK TO HOSPITAL.
Enjoy my blog, I may use it a lot.

update
Well lets see, I think it's time for a bit more of a update. I stay at home in Auchinleck 95% of the time. My bed is very comfortable. I have my weetabix in the morning and then the drugs. It also helps having this at home (the pc). Worst expense is when I have to use taxis. From the Auchinleck to East Ayrshire Community Hospital is just over a £5. Next Thursday is going to be busy. I have EACH at 9.05am and then my GP and 1030. I went to the church tonight (I arrange a lift to get me there which I have to thank). I am going Thursday night after the busy morning. Last Saturday I took a walk to topup my gas and nearly killed myself. Now I am stopping 5+ on the uphill parts to keep my energy. I think it's working. I bought some Red Kola (not Irn Bru as I said on facebook). It was delicious. The worst part I discovered this week was a BT bill which I went off in 2 weeks actually went off this weekend. I was anyway so I didn't really worry about it.
That covers it.
That covers it.

morning
Well good morning all, its nice and sunny outside in glorous Auchinleck. I had a meeting at Cumnock RFC for the mini/mini section from 7pm - 9pm. I just did the bit of work I had from the meeting for the website including advertising new events. I went to "my own bed" at 10.30pm last night. It was so somfy. Fell asleep fairly quickly. My house phone rang at 8am. I still enjoyed my weetabix and then coffee this morning.

My weekend again
Image via Wikipedia
Saturday as you may have guessed I enjoyed until about 70 minutes in Wales vs Scotland. The club did get slightly busier after I took my photo.
I watched France vs Ireland as well and FRANCE should win the 6nations. I went home at 7pm with the tables left one way. I watched Fantastic Four again, then my Super Ex Girlfriend (most of it, ive recorded the rest).
I got up around 9am and got ready for the longer day in the club. I got a phonecall and after getting out the bath I discovered somebody had been in to do more work on the tables, which the S1 needed postmatch. So I spoke to the lassies already in hall and we got it sorted. Also when I spoke to East Ayrshire Council just after new year about my first aid certificate they said they would sent it to rugby club. 1 Problem, THEY SENT IT TO KILMARNOCK RUGBY CLUB. I got it handed to me on Sunday by Stephen Taylor. I now have my first aid certificate.
The s1 finished at 1.40pm and at 1.45 the engagement party came in, phew. The party was here to 8.30pm. We put the Italy vs England 6 nations game on through on the bar and about a dozen were in for it, including a player who had got injured the day before (in crutches). It wasn't too mad at any point and the regulars came in at 5pm and the boys from Cardiff arrived around 8pm. I was kept just busy.
When I left the club I had a kebab for my dinner (as I was tired and not cooking).
I watched the Gordon Brown vs Piers Morgan interview and I liked it. The programme finished about 11.20 and I went straight to bed. I was tired. I slept to 9am this morning. I know I needed the sleep.
Now I have to sign on and I have committee meeting tonight.

Social Media Podcast 14
Image via Wikipedia
I wouldn't allow a junior for a company to do things for a company. I know when I do stuff for Cumnock RFC I usually have to get a lot of agreement for me to do stuff. We just started using teamer which is a way to text/email players for the club for free (apart from USA). The president referred it to me to check out. I liked it but I still needed to talk to Head Coach that he wants me to use this to talk to the players.
Others things like emailing the local paper which in first instance I thought I might get in trouble for I got praised for. You do have to have a person that you trust to do this for you. Thats why I am the Cumnock RFC Webmaster. You have to know the boundaries that you can go to. There are things which ofcourse I do know which I don't put out publically.
Iain talking about tweetdeck and hootsuite is unfortunately not my area. I know Three just gave me twitter for free until end of march, but its just the mobile site.
I dont have an iphone but I do have audioboo via phoneboo. I linked it to my housephone, not that anybody has said anything to me (I have left it on the bottom of my blog). I just did a phoneboo asking about Wales vs Scotland, lets see if I get an answer for this one. I am on #googlewave since nov/dec and not many people are using it but googlebuzz already feels it has more people using it.
The talk about people using social media at work is going to be a continual subject. After a good discussion with Josh_biggs on twitter, its not as easy as it looks.
You guys are right about learning these new systems and what you want to do. Gordon I am sure Iain isnt your only follower, haha! I do know other people like the sky app, so I know people like it, right Alex.

The busy period
Image by Getty Images via Daylife
Friday afternoon I did some shopping and Friday night we finished setting up for Burns Supper. I had already agreed I wasn't heading to Cowal for rugby Saturday. I stated in the poster the club would be open (I wasn't the only person who agreed to that) for all 6 nations games.
Saturday I headed down for 2pm, so I got there just before 2pm. The 1st XV won 50-10 and now face Isle of Arran next Saturday (when only a couple of senior players are in Cardiff for Wales vs Scotland). So they were heading back. I watched the Ireland vs italy game, the 1st 6nations game. It wasn't great but I had predicted Ireland would win and they did. There was only 1 PERSON watching the game with me.
The five oclock club came in at its usual time and so did Jennifer. I had been on bar myself to that point. When the next member of staff Amy came in at 6pm I headed for a shower and get changed. The trip and the telegraph pass which wales did during their game cost them. After I had got changed Catriona got here (after being to Cowal) and we got ready for Burns Supper, everybody says it was a great success. i had scotch broth, haggis neeps and tatties and stake pie, carrots, peas and tatties and I was full after that. There was a large mix of men and women there. I was on the "rugby Boys" tables, which ended being the Rugby boys and girls and Tommy (me) table. In the breaks I helped on the bar (it was only 10 minute breaks, I was drinking cold water all night). The events finished at midnight, it only started just before 7pm, VERY QUICK. Unfortunately my taxi only came at 1.30am. I wasnt walking home, so I was in Cumnock RFC for 12 hours yesterday.
I went to bed fairly quickly but I kept waking up almost every hour. I got up at 11am. I had my coffee and toast and had checked my email and watched euro 2012 draw (SCOTLAND AINT GOING TO QUALIFY, England will) when the phone rang this just after midday, wondering if I could let someone in weight room for 1pm. I was heading down to club for 2pm. I got my gear on including scotland top and headed down. At 2.15/2.30 I started getting busier behind bar again. It was just me today. 3pm the game started. Scotland KEPT on kicking the ball away and France were better than us. There was a point in 2nd half Scotland had a small breakaway from a lineout and "KICKED IT AWAY". A lesson I learned 15 odd years ago is "YOU DONT KICK YOUR POSSESSION AWAY (yes that ex coach was in club today), I told him that after full-time, where I get the Cumnock Bill McLaren line again. Harry and Morton were making and selling pies at lunch time and I had organised a float for Harry and I paid for my pie and told Harry to bring my pie through as I wouldn't get through for it. I only got to eat my pie 10 minutes into 2nd half as I was constantly busy until then (it was only me).
The game finished and only slowly the members started disapearing, but 630 if was quite, the five oclock club and ian and sadie had came in.
I closed the bar at 8pm, and so I had spent another 8 hours today, that meant I had done 20 hours VOLUNTARY WORK over 2 days. Because I havent had any beer and I wasn't cooking tonight I went to the chineese 2 minutes walk from home for chicken chow mein and I enjoyed it.
So anybody beat me for being busy.

Tuesday 2 February
Well I thought I was going to relax today, it happenned for a couple of hours. After getting home at about 10.30 last night I was tired before midnight so I headed to bed, I have recorded The Parole Officer from BBC1. I didn't even see the Keane press conference after midnight when he signed for Celtic.
I got up at 8am and I started on my 6 nations poster for rugby club, I wanted it colourful. I did it and loaded it up. It didn't look the same way I did it.
Next the phone rang (about 930). I discovered that everyone has to go to Haven Open Day if they want their job. I then had to phone a couple of my old staff. I got one of them and told her about it. When I phoned my boss he said hadn't he said to me. I said NO. After that I went a did a little bit of shopping down at Tesco, just to feed me for a few days, I march on my stomach.
Google Chrome also got extensions and I have zemantha loaded up again and a new twitter feeder. Its going ok so far. I also had a response to my consultation already.
I then just watched a bit of telly from 2ish to 4.30.
The new league rearrangements had appeared on SRU site and we got the date we expected for Clydebank RFC and I sorted the other 2 postponments. Then I saw there was a 230 kickoff for one of the teams and I remembered they all said 12 noon. I checked them again and they said 2.30pm kick off for us. So I phoned Alex as you do.
I have had some bacon sarnies and fish cakes with noodles and juice for dinner and I feel quite full. So thats today. I am heading down to club soon to do bar.
Does that sound like a day off to you.
