hello

Well I am having a fairly quiet couple of days. Last night I really enjoyed The Gadget Show on five. I thought the Iphone would win.

Then I went and watched Dave with Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week and had a good laugh. I then moved over to Graham Norton Show on BBC1 and Robert Downey Jr and Ed Byrne were great on it. The new Sherlock Holmes movie looks good. Maybe I need to read a proper book for some background.

Then got some sleep and I watched the Wright stuff on Channel 5 this morning. Austin Healy was talking a lot of sense when it came to the BA staff. I am dis positioned not to agree with ex england rugby players ofcourse, but Austin made sense. Its also bin day so I have done that as well.

I also see Emma Bunten is replacing Ruthie Henshaw as judge on dancing on ice. Ruthie is doing Chicago. Emma doesn't skate but is judging the dancing.

Oh yeah and Rage against the machine is ahead of #xfactor (good).

Now its getting towards lunch time and I am getting hungry.

See you all around.

It ended up being a good day. I did touch (which I made 2 mistakes on) but with the last play of the game Mark scored the winning score with a try.

Then we went back to our club and I had a few pints and went home at a reasonible time (with a black pudding supper (I was not cooking). I went to bed early (11pm) and got up at 8.30am this morning, refreshed.

Rage against the machine UPDATE

Rage against the machine website
At 3pm Wednesday UK time we want #ratm4xmas to trend on twitter.

AS A TRENDING TOPIC
IF WE ALL PUT THAT AS OUR TWEETS WE ARE SURE TO BECOME A TRENDING TOPIC (ULTIMATLY EXPANDING OUR MARKET)

REMEMBER TO FOLLOW IT WITH INFO ON THE GROUP, MAYBE A LINK TO THE SITE

ONCE WE GET TWITTER ON BOARD WE'LL BE FLYING HIGH. There needs to be 150 tweets a minute for it to trend (approximately).

If even all my followers (including spammers) did it, we would trend. I supposedly have 446 followers. Time to do some work.

There is 400,000 facebook users as fans of this group.

Come on.

Also check this blog

UPDATE:-
I tried doing this at 3pm and didn't trend and I even managed to annoy people who follow me, so please take your direction on your tweets from this blog link

Monday 7 December & Tuesday 8 Dec.

Well that was fun today. I watched the american football on channel 5 last night. I had went to bed at 9.20pm and got back up at 12.50 for Minessota vs Arizona. Arizona was winning easily at 4am so I headed back to bed. I also did some publicise on next Cumnock RFC Friends and formers players event on 16th January during it. I also had fun talking to my american friends about the game. It was fun.

I went to bed, I think I got back to sleep about 5am (drinking coffee during games did keep me slightly awake), got up at 9am. I did feel fine.

Today I headed into Cumnock at 11.30am, took a walk upto
View Larger Map">Caponacre Industrial Estate, looking for something The burger van up there sells cheese burgers for £1.60 (I might not buy there again).
Next I visited my mum and andy at home. Did some talking and then headed to my cousins and chatted with him until 6.30pm (catching up).

I then headed to
View Larger Map">Cumnock RFC for mini/midi committee meeting which started at 7pm. It went well. We finished at 9.30pm. It was a bit foggy when I went home. Now I am a bit tired and heading for some sleep. When I got home I did the stats for 1st XV. Unfortuantely you have to have joined pitchero website to see the stats (and the forum)

I am now heading for bed as I am a bit tired.

I got up at 8.30am. I applied for several jobs as I emailed atleast 3 people my cv. Filled out 2 application forms. I then went out printed 2 cv's, sent a package for my mum. I printed out a cv for one of the app forms and headed to Cumnock.

When I got off the bus I said hello to a couple of people. I then handed in the app form then did some shopping in farmfoods in cumnock.

When I was on bus home I listened to newsbeat on radio 1 on these gold dealers on tv. It was very interesting and here is the link.

Now I have headed home and just going to have sausage sandwiches. I wonder what @birssy will say to my question.

There is the answer, coffee.

Relaxing afternoon now.

Follow Friday, My weekend and why I am rugby daft

I got to sleep after 2am this morning. Since I got up I have put my washing on, done my follow friday's on twitter @weeyin13 @lisaseat @tookiebunten @_alexham @birssy @faulko1 @shadwell1970 @caldjr @lliswerryguy @dezbee2008 @backstory @holmescnn @iamboutique @bellahomecouk @evilnanny @ceggs @josh_biggs @aexavf @thegreenwelly @braescotland @unahealthyfan @davidforster @b26marauder @centcaps @tweetybear67 @birssy @tezzer57 @ms_cornwall @djmissfrenchie @thepathtoamen @kidsonbridges @jonallenmusic @lesleygunn @absoluteradio @lj_chi @michaeljbyers @michaelmcguk @openallmics @thetwitcleaner @westfm @pitchero @iainmhepburn @craigmcgill @fallout666 @cumnockchron

For fuller descriptions from last weeks Follow Friday click here.

I also had to update news on where the Cumnock minis are going on Sunday. I did this in several ways. So I posted it within their own age groups I did a club news on all the teams details for this weekend in club news on pitchero Cumnock site. I then updated facebook with a note and then I sent an update to all the fans of Cumnock RFC on facebook. That should cover most of my computer stuff. I also had to add a pdf into club documents for mini/midis as well for Scotland/Glasgow/Edinburgh.

I know I am busy Saturday. Weather permitting I am videoing my 1st team rugby game (the head coach asked me, I don't say no to him (I am there to help)), having dinner at home then doing bar that night in the club.

Sunday I have 2 or 3 different youth teams playing at home and then do reports (myself) maybe for one or two sets for paper (plus advertise for more players in paper for another youth team).

I had better say one team is off this weekend and the youngest ones are away from home (which I will sent reports for that night or next day to put on website).

You wonder why I talk rugby as much (does that explain the role at the club as webmaster, me).

I hope that answers why I am rugby (and computer) daft. If I am boring you just check the jokes I posted earlier this week (down the blog).

Bottle bingo and Wednesday 2nd December

Question. Where ìs it.

I was in Cumnock Shopping precinct this morning and saw the sign. Just a slight problem, it doesn't say where the bottle bingo is being held (not that I am going).

I was down in Cumnock as I had an appointment with my optometrists. I got glasses just there but for RUGBY I am getting contacts. Last week the nice young man put them in my eyes in about 1 minute. Today after he showed me the technique of putting them in it took me 15 minutes to put it in 1 eye and 5/10 for the other. I couldn't get them out (there the daily ones) in the last 5 minutes.

I am back next week to try and finish this.

Next I had to go up to my mums and connect her dvd and video correctly in the living room. Program her new phone speed dials and connect up her other tv with digi box, dvd, video.

It took me a bit of time.

I came home, added primary 7 reports for the rugby which I had been emailed to facebook and pitchero sites. I had a bit to do in the council office, forms to do.

I had chips, 4 sausages, burger for lunch at about 3pm today.

You think I was busy today.

Ad in New York Times...We need more "victims" like Alex!

This Add Was Posted to Craig in the Personals

To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last. Date: 05-27-09, 1:43 A M EST.

I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on my girlfriend, threatening our lives and me.

You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings.

I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message.

First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment when I drew my pistol after you took my Jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason.

My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 .45 A CP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening.

Obviously you agree that it is a very Intimidating weapon when pointed at your head wasn't it?

I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from bare footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again].

After I called your mother, or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I Went and filled up my gas tank as well as four other people's in the gas station on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful!

I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go’s, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!]

I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ... after I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car.

Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone.
Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what's going on with that?

Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.).

In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you ... but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider the career path you've chosen to pursue in life.

Remember, next time you might not be so lucky.

Have a good day!

Thoughtfully yours,
Alex

I just read the article now, there is no date set for final process beginning. I can't see how a Conservative UK government would give extra funding to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland but not England.

Central train station

Thats me at Glasgow Central train station. It only took me 15 mins walk to get here.

My train is at 828 and its the front one.

The victoria house hotel was briliant. I had a double bed. Breakfast was served from 7am.
It had great power shower.

I have 2 cds in my bag, one signed which cost me a tenner each.

It was ok. My taxi driver on the way back to the hotel was a bit funny. i said take me to my hotel then he comes out with, youll have to pay or talk to owner if you want it?

I lost him there.
Well i have docs this morning then bt this afternoon.
