Thursday

Hello everyone, how are we all.

Today has been fairly quiet.

Above is a picture from Top Gear talking about a new car called the Growler.

Last night I decided during the show melody would be fired and yes she did.

I thought she was digging a big hole. Unlike the Your Fired panel I think Jim will make it to the final. I think Helen is a cert to be final after her track record, even after last nights mistakes.

Also Melody did look very good last night on youre fired as well.

Other thing I did last night was check the usual television.

Hannah Bayman on North East & Cumbria Look North had a very good report and I am glad it should be dry by Sunday.

This morning I caught some Sara Thornton on BBC London

Pitchero have added the fixtures for our division but the last time I checked the kick off times needed corrected.

Also i went back down to Visions and had a work out. It was OK. Next I headed home and I have chilled.

The Story on News of the World has exploded as it is being closed and yes this doesnt put a line in the sand. The investigations still need to take place.

Tomorrow is lunchtime in Ayr. Lucky us.

See you after the weekend and anyone going to T In The Park, DONT TAKE DRUGS and have fun.

Wednesday

Hello guys, I am sorry I enflicted the pictures of my parents yesterday. It was the easiest way to put them up, even if my sister didn't want to see those online.

Right now the boring stuff I have noticed.

It is JT and WMCc birthday today. William is a good man and its been a number of weeks since i saw him. Hope he gets some fun soon.

JT I hope enjoys his weekend away from the pre-season start at Cumnock RFC.

I went the walk around Cumnock today at 10am. Round the north side of Cumnock for an hour. It was OK even though I didn't walk at my usual pace. Holby City was good last night as usual. Yes I watch that but not Casualty.

The last series of Smallville is on E4 and it was a good laugh last night, even if we know where it is going.

I even went to the quiz at the royal Bar last night. All the usual people for our team were there. 1 team won the £163 play your cards right in first round. Well done. We were 3rd. Joint first was 2 points in front. There isn't a lot I can say about that. I am also glad I havent seen a lot of rain today. On the telly front I couldn't see anything I wanted to deal with.

Oh and pitchero say the new fixtures should be available in 48 hours to scottish and welsh clubs, which is good.

blah time

Well what can we say today.

Some of you may have seen before I put jokes on my blog (ive had to stop now).

1 of the suppliers of jokes is called Elizabeth. Unfortunately her husband has went into hospital because he had a second stroke, within a year. Last year when I was in hospital for all that time they visited me, gave me stuff, were great mates. I could say there wasn't that many visitors when the last stay in hospital was 5 weeks. But as we say it's more sorted now.

I hope he can get better soon. I hope the next time I can speak to them it's better news.

Right that is the depressing bit by.

I did watch most of the matches Andy Murray played in. He played the best he could but Rafa was better. Unfortunately for Rafa, Novak was better than him.

I know lots of my friends who watch as much news (if not more) didn't like the fact the regional news was being cut. Now Tgoat (who I talk to on twitter and currentbuns) has a view on it.

On this I can feel sorry for The BBC deciding to put tennis on BBC1 but I don't agree on everything with him.

There is certain presenters and weather presenters I do cap, which this person wouldn't. Even if me capping Wendy Hurrell when looking down did cause a few problems when that wouldn't be a problem. That isn't the cap I decided to put on here.

So what else have I been doing. Well the 2010 - 2011 season has finished at Cumnock rugby club. Fortunately for me the work for pre-season for 50th anniversary season is already going. The senior training starts on 9th July with training and players meeting. Expect your phonecall guys.

Also Rodger, Jim and me won play your cards right. Me and Jim paid our social memberships. That was good.

I have also met the guys at twitayr. That was fun as well. For the record i paid £32 for taxi from Ayr to Cumnock (not £40 like last time). We had won the quiz as well. I seem my knowledge does have some uses.

Technology. After 5 weeks without a iphone I got insurance paid and now have an android phone. I was getting slightly bored with iphones. My current phone nearly does everything the iphone did and yes I am a heavy user.

Now the cinema stuff. I have seen "bad teacher". If it was called bad that would tell you how bad it is.

I just saw Transformers 3. I only went to 2d version because I don't like glasses on top of my glasses.

Today I had a induction into Visions Gym. That was better than expected.

Tomorrow looks like rain again and this is the first full week of scottish school holidays.

See you later.

Thomas

The past weekend

On Friday i headed to my sisters in Fife. I left at 10.45 from Auchinleck. Got phone ring at 12.05 and I can see Buchanan Bus Station bus next bus leaves 12.10. I was in the bus area when the bus pulled away because we were stuck behind a Glasgow airport express bus waiting to go into its stance.

So that meant I had to get 1230 bus to Glenrothes. Get info that next bus to Leven from Glenrothes is 1415 and my bus is due in 1410. Then you hit Cumbernauld 10 mile of roadworks. Get to Dunfermline bus station 1339 but bus doesnt go in stance for 2 minutes. It only took 2 minutes to get those passengers in. Leave 3 minutes late. Then arrive at Glenrothes 1414, move towards next stance, BUS REVERSES! I was 10 metres away. Then get 1432 to Leven Bus Station, get there 1455, so after changing my route I save 32 minutes! I get to sisters (via a car) and have good lasange 8/10 and stay in house for rest of night.

Next day sis has hairdressers. She does that and comes back 10am, I head into Leven and chill out myself and head back at midday.

At 1pm we head by car to Glasgow (wasn't I there Friday). We go round a few shops (not for me, my nephew is there as well in buggy).

We head to Jamie Olivers restaurant

I have the tagliatelli, The STAFF were briliant, especially with my nephew. They look VERY WELL TRAINED. The food was good for the price I was paying. I aint sure if I had the £6.50 or £10 version (I paid a certain amount for my meal and stuff) The food was perfect temperature but I didn't get a lot of flavours. I got more flavours in lasagne the day before.

This is what I put on twitter Saturday night:-
9/10 good value just wasnt perfect. staff 10/10 good training, main meal 7/10 sweet 9/10.

I still agree with that.

During this the rain was LASHING down outside. I am glad we were inside then. It had dried out nearly when we left after 5pm. The other thing about Glasgow that day it was very busy. It was the day before Fathers Day though.

A few more shops happenned and we left Buchanan Galleries

It was 610 we left there, headed along M8 to forth road bridge and up the usual roads to leven. We got back to base at 7.40pm.

Watched the telly for rest of night (not pre-school television which I had heard about 7 hours that day). I also went on computer that night. I went to bed my usual time and had lie-in.

On Sunday we didnt do much that morning. at around 2pm we headed to Dunfermline. It took 20 minutes by car. We went to Odeon cinema and saw Green Lantern. It was ok for a dc comics franchise. I am expecting more episodes though. The graphics have even moved on since The Matrix in how it is clean.

That was done and wrapped by 525. I just watched telly that night.

Today I got to leven Bus Station 830 for 845 bus. It was a 50ish seater. I think around 80/90 people used this bus. It took about 70 minutes to get to Dunfermline today via Kirkcaldy and was there around 10am. Got to Kincardine bridge around 1030. Thinking it was suppose to get in Glasgow 11am (its 30 miles away roughly), dont think so. We go through roadworks on M80 (I hate them now). See bus home just departing (AGAIN) on time at 11.15 and I get in my stance 11.16am, grrr. Check times and see Train from Glasgow central to Auchinleck 1212 and home about 1310 (yeah), get some lunch and get train home. It only stopped at Stewarton and Kilmarnock before Auchinleck. Ace, not the multiple times my buses this morning stopped at every village in fife this morning. X buses in fife and only expresses when NOT IN FIFE!

Thats the rant over. You all have a good week. Tomorrow I am going to Ayr. No more Fife for 6 weeks. During typing this I have had Lady Gaga on (not Timmy Time!)

a website question

Right you are putting out a message which will involve people spending money and you don't want to put them off buying your ticket. Someone wants the people coming to do an additional thing when you have heard some people are already doing it. Do you want the additional thing to be plastered everywhere (it can't be missed, but looks really bad when there) or you put it strategically in the documents you have already used which wont connect to everyone because emailing it again will dilute the general message.

What would you do.

Well I will tell you what I did (and hopefully make things clearer).

Cumnock Rugby Club is holding its Awards Day this Sunday and we need people coming to bring salad. The burgers and Steaks are ordered and some parents have said they are bringing food when I didn't prompt them on Sunday there. I did put the bring extra salad message on that web page and facebook but after looking about plastering it over the fixture section for every team going to awards day (and putting it in a few) I decided NOT to put it in this section. There is also the fact we are needing more senior players to buy tickets for this event and I don't want to put them off.

I wonder how many people agree with what the above says.

The Big Issue @realmackaystv

On your blog John.

It is unconfirmed that it was Fox that got rid of Cheryl, not Simon on US X Factor. I dont really care if I see Cheryl on a talent programme. i can say she usually on gets hits when on these programmes. Other times she doesnt get to top of the charts. Cheryl isnt really my taste of music.

Cheryl appears to have decided not to do UK X Factor. Is she really worth £2 for a series which is reported what she was offered anyway (unless we get £800,000 from 40% tax).

The Voice is on the USA according to Wikipedia and youtube.

It could be a publicity stunt. I don't think it detracted from Scotty winning American Idol, a certain LA correspondent for Daybreak, Ross King said it didn't get much coverage in USA.

My review of @stvedinburgh for @carasulieman

Here is my review of STV News at Six from East on Monday 23 May 2011.

Well apart from Graphics appearing for input (which I didn't see again) and sound going on Juliet Dunlop to Gordon Chree in newsroom.

The first story was big hitting I did like it. It showed what you could do.

Also the piece on what Edinburgh Festival does for the whole economy I had seen on 1.55 but you added more localism to the report from the earlier version.

I think Caroline was probably nervous because she stumbled at one point. The sport report did focus on some west of scotland stories as well, which I didn't really expect. It was a very informative piece on Hearts and trying to get a new stadium.

I hope it could happen with tieing up with Edinburgh Rugby. You cant expect Edinburgh Rugby to fill Murrayfield, its too big. It makes sense, but some local supporters of Hearts will support the team because it is next to them. That is always a hard question. I am also sure SRU will keep funding for Edinburgh rugby. I cant see that changing (for Glasgow warriors as well). You may notice I am very big into my sport (especially rugby)

I can't say for my selfish point of view I like the new desk for several of my friends, Martin, tgoat who know what I think about desks (I don't) The camera angles are very precise. If you have seen my blog before you know I like different shots or what I supply sometimes to currentbuns (I did the last 3). I cant say (except tonight) I will do many of Edinburgh.

For the mistakes which are being made by BBC Scotland right now, you did very well. I think you will get past what happenned and go along flyingly. They are not having a good night tonight.

I also liked how Sean did with the weather and your more zoomed in map.

More caps are here: for Juliet and Caroline

Hello the weekend

Hello everyone, how are you all today.

Well lets start with the weekend (what I will say). Mark Bennett played for Glasgow Warriors on Friday. We couldn't watch it, but here is STV Sports Centre video which UK Viewers can watch for the next few days.

We had fun in the evening.

Listen!

Listen!

Listen!

They were a good band.

Sunday we came back.
