I am Thomas, I am the Webmaster (among other things) of Cumnock Rugby Club. I like TV and cap news (and other stuff sometimes), I like WWE but not soap operas or Jeremy Kyle. Enjoy

Social Media Podcast 13
Well I do normally listen to the social media podcast and a new one came out Wednesday 20 January, number 13. On the first point the social media podcast on around 4th January was number one in podcast charts. Kyle, Gordon and Malcolm are correct they have a lot of feeds but if I remember right there was a lot of trouble in Iran that day and social media is showing what is happening there than state tv for example is. It was still well done for getting that high.
Also they went up again when Alistair Campbell was at the iraq inquiry. People would read I watched it all day on BBC news channel and I used twitter frequently that day. As Kyle said, Alistair did social media podcast 8 which kinda made me a fan of his.
Alistair definately knows his stuff and the fact that he was there all day with basically blanket coverage shows for the man he is. I agreed on the media having there on take on certain parts. The laugh he had with his sandwich was quite good.
I also like the part on skynews getting there staff to use tweetdeck.
Right now onto Evan Ratliff the wired writer. It is a wonderful article, took me ages to read. Eddie Gilmour talks a lot of sense though. Evan appeared to be online a lot when he was out there, making clues to himself. It did come in handy when he knew he had to run out of airport.
It was day 16 he got found according to article. That was an expensive book launch for Evan to go to as the $5000 reward to find him, he had to give $3000 and give himself. I am glad it went to charity.
That red lazer app sounds very rubbish. I listen to the audioboo the guys do. There quite good. I even just created a account of my own.
Cheers guys.

Broomfield
When I was down at the training I took a video of some of the areas, there is lots of green but on closer inspection where is bits of white. The hill down to the main pitch had lots of icy bits, so I didn't walk down and the other pitch has white bits.
It was a good walk.

Ok got up and got this sight of the grass across and thought I needed a bit of a close up, so this is the close-up of the grass. A lot of the Snow is away after lots of rain last night. Trust me I went to bed at 1.15am but couldn't get to sleep to around 3am with wind and rain on the window.

rugby, twitter #followfriday and other stuff.
Good afternoon all, no pictures the now. Thought you might have had enough from yesterday. The broadband signal was playing up for a number of days there, so grrr. It appears to be working a lot better now.
I did my #followfridays at midnight last night, so I haven't had to worry about doing them during today. Here is the list:
@cdhinton @braescotland @_alexham @tezzer57 @tookiebunten @jscognam @faulko1 @weeyin13 @dezbee2008 @lisaseat @josh_biggs @centcaps @sophielouiseJ @tourscotland @clueless_bimbo @queenofscots67 @lliswerryguy @ceggs @evilnanny @shadwell1970 @slashasterisk @jennired @caldjr @xsex @ms_cornwall @barrysnedden @natcoombs @mikeantwerp @rbmartin @wendyhurrell @pitchero @wossy @stephenfry @westfm @itvtakemeout @joindave @achrisevans @tweetybear67 @alanwho @joreynolds55 @dezbee2008 @b26marauder @cumnockchron @birssy @djmissfrenchie @kjmurdoch @campbellclaret @bbclauraK
At the rugby club last night I had a number of beers which was good, for some of the hard work I have been doing down there, but I volunteered to do bar Tuesday nights until I get a job. Its not a long shift anyway. I think there is football on English BBC next Tuesday, so I will be able to watch it. We have a committee meeting on Monday.
Catriona was down in the club last night, the person organising the Burns Supper for Saturday 6th February. After seeing the Cumnock Chronicle website on Wednesday and it mentioning Cumnock RFC Burns Supper. Bobby Horton (the chairman of the event) was also there. I was glad I was down in the club to see how they got on organising it. They even got other people who were not buying a ticket to go to it. On the same day Cumnock is away to Cowal (Dunoon) with a noon kick-off. I wonder how long it takes to get back from Dunoon back to Cumnock?
The Cumnock Chronicle did put the email I did into the paper (bottom right of page 31 (2nd last page). Everybody I showed the paper liked the fact it was in the paper (yeah, I didn't get shouted at). I did the right thing.
After that I went into The Sun, tried Fireflies (which I cannot do) and went down that ice path to the bus stands.
Then I got home, had a bite to eat and did some work on the tvnewscaps british threads site as my computer was going quicker and had a very nice chat with sabrina about snow.
I went to bed at 2.30 (and went straight to sleep) and got up at 9am this morning. American Idol has started again and I watched the Atlanta one this morning, you can see from the packages if they are good singers or not before they go up. The biggest point ofcourse was #pantsontheground song. Thankfully the general is 62, so he was slightly above 28 year old limit. Here is the video link

Cumnock bus statìon
There wasnt any snow on that hill, just ice, it is normally ten seconds to get down. To make sure I got down OK, I took 1 minute.
Last
Thats me home, I tested to see how deep the snow was below my pavement, Its nearly as deep as me putting my size 10 shoes in straight down (like kicking).
The path
Another view of the path from the bottom of the path to actually show what East Ayrshire Council cleared.
Picture going up Main Street
This is me trying to demonstrate the amount the roads have been cleared, but not the payments. This is when I am walking up towards home.
Picture of hills
I just did my shopping and I decided to take a few pictures on the way home. So this is what the next few pictures are.
Yes, the council are working
I could hear a beep and I looked across at the path and saaw a East Ayrshire Council van, clearing it of snow. I think the snow has stopped the now. I thought I had better get a picture of it. I am sorry if the picture is small, I used the zoom on my phone.
My steps
The path at the bottom of stairs didnt have any snow on it last night, it is only a small sprinkling.

Morning all, I hope you are all ok. The snow did continue, they must have been a inch or so last night, it definately covered the road. From Well Road the gritters have been out.
I am now watching american idol as you all know I like to keep up on american programming.
Auchinleck 1250
Yes I am just heading to bed. It snowed slightly when I left to go to Cumnock RFC tonight. The SRU put out the fixture changes today and it means it interfears with a social event and when we beat that team we are suppose to play at arran the weekend Wales plays Scotland in 6 nations.
It is thankfully main committee meeting on Monday (I think).
Anyway when I went to the club the ice was that bad I slid on it. Thankfully my big gloves did the job of protecting my hands.
I came home on an earlier bus and watched some telly. The end of Slumdog Millionaire (I saw it last year at cinema) then some QI with Stephen Fry. The ice on my steps was bad, so I got rid of some of it and now it is snowing again (as shown on the video).
Now its bed time. Goodnight.

Front - Wednesday 13 January
It hasnt been freezing for a couple of days now, but it isn't warm enough yet to thaw the snow away.
I just checked the weather forecast for Cumnock
It is suppose to heavy rain Friday and Saturday at +4/+6c, so here is hoping it gets rid of the snow.

I had to get up early incase the Council turned up early. The fact my body decided to get up at 7.20am made sure of that. I had 2 cups of coffee to wake up and that was with 7 hours sleep. My brother has phoned me this morning, he thought I said it was my mums birthday today, it wasn't, its tomorrow. He has had snow and is still working away down there. This is one of many pics of outside from my living room. I stepped outside for a short few seconds and it was freezing. Its not suppose to get above positive temperatures today.

My home
Yeah this morning I got up as I found a puddle in my sink and checked the bath and there was a puddle in there as well. I think my pipe might have froze.
This morning I went and did some shopping down the street, wrapped up some stuff for my parents who got home yesterday. My mum is 62 on Friday. So I visited Andy and her. Next I paid a very quick visit to Aunty Margaret for a small job to do. I also said a quick hello to my cousin David. After 1 last visit to pay a bill I was going to grab 12.30 bus bus just missed it so I headed to council housing office where I phoned up repairs service about the small puddle. They told me I can have somebody tomorrow (Thursday). I headed home on 12.45pm bus. I warned my neighbour (downstairs) what was happening (incase it affects him) and checked my hosue again.
The puddle has increased (as you can see in the video). Thankfully my heating is fine. I checked yahoo there and it said I am already -4. Another cold night ahead (apart from all the coffee I will drink).
I hope East Ayrshire Council is quick tomorrow.

Last one
This is the view from street point, most of the pics I do are upstairs. We havent had gritters down our road and that is a pile of snow ofcourse. We wont have gritters ofcourse. I can also report my mum was up in Fife over xmas/new year but she has been on buses today and is already in Ayrshire (phew).
