My week

Good morning, well thankfully it's payday.

This past week has been busy at work, still no sign of Rachel. Leonie, we are getting there. Claire stays on till as normal.
Ann and Myra very busy with me.
It's the Glasgow fair so yes the shop is busier then next Tuesday we have the Head Office visitor again and Steve wants a lot of new stuff in before that we also have a lot of redoing of stuff over the weekend.
Cumnock Rugby Club - had main committee meeting Monday and I have some membership stuff to do and a little bit on blogsite and chatboard.

Ive been on ebay this morning and bought a mouse as my current one is playing up. Ive even topped up my electric and gas as well. Now I am going to listen to Chris Moyles for next couple of hours. I can't guarantee I will get Golden Hour.

How does that look today.

This was it dry this morning as I was waiting for my bus in Auchinleck to head to work. I dont think the rain wasn't far. I was through Catrine and it was raining heavily.

i told all of you the ice cream was being done and today after Ann and Myra worked on the window and the rest of ice cream counter. They said does it look nice, I agreed and said I was taking a picture.

more about little old me

Well I notice its about 60 days since I blogged here, so thought I would do another one. I am still having trouble with cumnockrugby.com old website, so haven't got that running yet. I do have a committee meeting at Cumnock Rugby Club on next Monday to see if I can get a webhost. I cant upload web pages directly from this pc. I continue to use http://cumnockrugby.blogspot.com and http://cumnockrugby.proboards.com for the rugby club.

After going to see the Ghosties in ABC2 in Glasgow I decided because I can photos on my phone and publish them on a blog I needed another blog, not for rugby, just me.

So I created another blog called http://thomasblah.blogspot.com (yeah thomas blah, thought it covered me).

So there I post pics of weather, especially rain in Auchinleck. Thought I have on telly and radio and anything I am getting big into including the trouble in iran a few weeks ago. I have a few people who already know it. I also included a feed of my twitter feeds (I am supposedly 2nd in ayrshire as largest user). Linda knows how much tweeting can be easy (and I can do it when I am travelling as well).

David was up here a few weeks ago. It was good to see him.

Mum has been seeing Sally and the rest through in fife.

Work; well Rachel has been off sick for a couple of weeks. So I have Myra and Ann assisting me while I still supervise. Unfortunately for them they both don't get the same day off together. Thats just the way we all agree to keep it, especially considering this is the school holidays. Steve and the rest in Essentials do assist us as well.

Well I thought it was a good name. Hope all the few readers I have are enjoying this. I don't get much feedback apart from twitter when I mention you specifically.

Work. Monday was a lot better, I went at my own pace, not trying to rush around. Just getting the stuff done with Myra. Had to be strict on tills a bit, including moving refunds to one till. Leonie I think is learning more about me. That includes times when I don't say much. I didn't do much when I got home that night. Just did some internet with twitter. I am trying to get not just 6 hours sleep. Lets see how we get on.

Tuesday woke up as usual 6am but no signal for my internet connection (argh). I got to work 8am, sent some faxes, photocopied had breakfast and opened with Ann and Claire later. Got a surprise order in (not too large). It was a nice day. Last night I had quick dinner and went to Cumnock Rugby Club to get a few updates. I am glad to say more members have paid this seasons membership already. It's only 10 training sessions until 1st game though. I just try to remind Under 18s to do Irb laws on rugby website as thats part of the process to play senior rugby.

Other news my friend Michelle (atleast I hope were still friends) is engaged. She announced it on 11 July. She has a very good man. She told me Sunday night as some of you may know I have a crabbit side. She said she told some people and I tried to make a joke out of it, but my bad mood stopped this happenning and I just bit back at her asking stupid things. I had just finished my 10-7 shift and was really tired. There is no excuses for what I did.

I know I have a tough side. I think I need to sometimes, just sometimes I can get me trouble with friends.

Ok, change the subject: TV AND RADIO

Chris Moyles has been very funny in the morning I am glad to say and glad he has a new contract for 12 more months. I wish he would do Strictly Come Dancing. Chris also basically doesn't like the Sun because they print lies about him. End of that subject.

Holly Willoughby is joining Philip Schofield on ITV This Morning from September. Very good decision.

I also got another of my tweets read on Quest Means Business on CNNI about working Sundays. It probably helped I tweet almost immediately after he put the question out.

Also I won a competition on twitter along witha few other from The Green Welly on Friday. They announced the winners today.

I also enjoyed reading Caldjr blog on last week. Hard work.

Oh and Cumnock Chronicle has joined twitter.

It my day off tomorrow. Lets see what happens then.

This weekend

Well what an interesting weekend. Friday got paid and got some stuff paid. The 90 hours fortnights are showing a benefit.

After Cumnock Rugby Club thursday night, I tried to publish website from my computer. I couldn't. I still need to talk to Alex/Harry and a guy we need to speak to.

The players were to have a meeting after training. The guys had a discussion with who was there but another date will be set for them before 1st game.

Work. I am doing the rota for Treasures at the moment and after this week where I struggled with only me +1 member of staff from 4-5 Steve has gave me somebody else.

It's Leoni. She was working Essentials before. I have the rota how I want it now, everybody else seems happy as well. It also means we (Ann and Myra) can get lots of merchandising done. We got a new ice-cream freezer/counter on my day off.

I watched Torchwood ofcourse. I was a bit worried about Captain Jack Harkness just giving up but he sorted it in the end.

Saturday I worked 9-6, it was a very productive day.

Today we still did a lot but the end of the day I could only mop floor after we were closed. I finished at 7pm. I only got home at 8.30pm and used microwave for dinner. Yum.

There isnt a lot else I can say. Colin Mcardle tune last night was good.

I am also glad for twitter, especially Caldjr and SnedwanSnedwan website and his #asksnedwan twitter hashtag.

When I was going home tonight after working 9-6 I sent a text to westfm and the Dance Show with Colin (the mcman) Mcardle requesting Castles In the Sky as I was heading home to Auchinleck on the bus. It was around tarbolton I sent the text to the right number 61025 and by Mauchline he had said on the radio "I have a radio on my phone as well that my tune was next. yes. He started playing it just after I left Mauchline (where the picture is taken). It was a great tune to end a good day. I hope Colin is ok tomorrow. He finishes at 10pm tonight and is onair at 6am Sunday morning (live) I will be listening again when I head to work for 10am start.

I went to rugby club talked about website. Look out I might be busy.

I then went to The Sun, Cumnock did the usual karaoke. I did Wonderwall because I couldn't do Michael Jackson and Noel Gallagher being on Chris Moyles this morning.

The best signer by far is Lori, she won a competition a few years ago. she did Run by Snow Patrol which was covered by Leona Lewis. It was amazing. It took your attention quite easily.

Hello guys, well I finally have a day off where I didn't get up early. I think I had better do some work on the cumnockrugby website (the old one).
Also I hope everybody rugby connected gets the detail on 10th October event.

But the main plan is to relax.

Noel Gallagher from Oasis was on Chris Moyles this morning and was very good.

I have also signed the petition on Johnnie Walker plant owned by Diageo closing plant in Hurlford, losing over 700 jobs in an East Ayrshire economy which doesn't need that.

On a lighter note I have been watching more BBC Reporting Scotland with Catriona Shearer being main anchor at the moment.

Torchwood is also very good this week. Really enjoying it.

Well what have we all been upto. At work Rachel is off sick so after working for an hour last Thursday, Steve did some helping. Myra is dealing with soem of my duties when I am not there and when it comes to merchandising they are good so we are dealing with ordering ourselfves. I even had to do the rota for this week (and probably next week).

So on Thursday I am having a FULL day off. I have been getting up at 6am almost every day since going back from holiday about 10 days ago.

Rugby wise I finally have the web pages for the old cumnockrugby and I need to do some work on them. I aint fully flinging myself into that yet. The web design lessons from the winter are coming in handy.

TV wise I am glad to see Catriona Shearer get anchor role on BBC Reporting Scotland 630pm show.

Torchwood is great this week, watched it last night, ace and tonight wasn't much different, including John Barrowman naked.
I am keeping watching this all week.

I also watched Chuck tonight on Virgin 1+1 (2nd series) and quite enjoyed it.

The morning started ok, then the rain came. It was bouncing off pavement. Even created a few leaks.
Thankfully it was dry by 4pm.

This is the view from the top of Ochiltree, Ayrshire at about 7.20am when I am on the bus to Ayr, heading for work. It was my day off but Rachel is still off.

I get in and see my boss and says I am to go as soon as the rest of the staff come in. So basically I got up at 6am to work for an hour. Would you think I am happy.

So got Myra and Ann briefed on what I hoep they can do (which they can unless it goes mad, but Essentials WILL HELP, if and when they need it.

I got the 10.15am bus from the work and got home at about 11.30am. Thats the morning gone, I already washed my uniform for tomorrow.

So I listened to the Radio a lot this morning including the bad news about Hurlford Diageo plant that came out last night tweet about rugby, tennis and stuff.

Also last night I updated firefox to 3.5 version and now I use twitterfox for twitter.

Auchinleck thìs morning

This was me heading for the bus from Auchinleck to Ayr at 7am this morning.
Got my usual bacon and egg roll plus latte in Cafe Ginger in Ayr when waiting for work bus. I also listened to Carrie Gracie (on Chris Moyles show) slag Chris Hollins. That was funny.

I had another busy day. Dealt with swimwear and got more deliveries. Had a new member of staff Scott. He wasn't bad. I also had Claire. Got home 7.30pm as I didn't mop floor before I closed.

I have me plus 3 members of staff tomorrow (I changed my day off). I hope it's better.

Ok the Andy Murray vs Stanislas Wawrinka game started at 6.30pm (just when I got home from work) and so I started twittering on it. Riggwelter said he was at a meeting and needed updates, so I did that. then came the 4th set where I tweet every score. i stopped doing it then Zammi asked me to continue. I did but then I discovered there is a limit to the amount of tweets you are allowed in an hour. and so my updates stopped being posted. So I am just watching the game now and hoping murray is just about to win the match in 5th set. Thats Murray just won, game set match final set 6-3 YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

I saw this on screen and thought i would be up shouting (i dont sing). That song is Firestarter by The Prodigy

I was right. I did the song with no glasses. I left The Sun Inn, Cumnock and had some people shout "your a firestarter". I dont always get 2 songs, but i did tonight. Thank you rossco and people who picked the tunes.
