Mrs Browns Boys da movie and more updates.

I For a week and a bit people have been talking to me about Mrs Browns Boys Da Movie. Through club stuff and Andy Murray in Wimbledon (he went out yesterday). So today and not bring around club this morning I could go.

This is the trailer (which I didn't watch before it) http://youtu.be/9yEy1zPEhyc

From even before the start to finish I was laughing. Yes it is not for children. It is stronger than telly show. You adults out there, go see it.

Better say we survived ladies day, it was busy, even if the Tober select won.

Youth awards day I enjoyed most of it.

This was me as dj as I had a 3 hour mix from rastamouse to Sing by Ed Sheeran. Also being around sound desk meant to water guns couldn't get near me. This is some of the playlist

Following Saturday, just 6 days later was Queens Baton Relay through East Ayrshire including Broomfield. I ended up on BBQ, the queue for burgers meant some people waited an hour. 500 burgers were sold at a pound in 3 hours. I got sunburn. The bar was also busy that day (which the club needed).

So we had some very busy times in club, but that's the season now over, but guess what 1st team fixtures are already out (I'm still waiting for 2nd). It's Annual General Meeting next Friday, when Bobby takes over (I've still got same job).

I am hoping I get a quick break in Fife this month. That's before Commonwealth Games of course.

So have fun out there and see you out there.

Time for an update

Well I have been busy, but I haven't blogged, so time I sort that.
So Wednesday 14th I went to Wwe at SSE Hydro. Definitely don't eat chips there. the show itself was very good. Enjoyed most of the matches, even if bad news Barrett slagged the scottish (as he is English). Unfortunately it was for title he won. I already knew Daniel Bryan wasn't going to be there after Raw. Thankfully there was some very good matches. sin Cara vs Rusev was great. I of course enjoyed Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton on steel cage.

That photo was 1st one I got. I got last train home, so got back 12.15am.

Thursday was a training night for Sunday at Stewartry Mini Festival.

Friday was Andy McCrories and Sarah Louise wedding reception at Bathgate, the vu. It was same night as McBusted (couldn't get rid of ticket) and Glasgow Warriors in semi final. There was no signal in building so had to go outside for updates. The reception was great, even if I didn't wear a tie (wore one enough lately). I got away without dancing. We had got a hired bus there and back. I got home 3.00am. I didn't get up until 11am. Good luck and Andy and Sarah in future.

Sunday morning, I needed to get up 7.30am, that wasn't fun. We did quite well.

Monday night was committee meeting and I am nominated to be Webmaster again (that's 6 years), no real surprise there. The heavy rain was worse.

Tuesday was quiz, it was alright but did badly at some points.

Wednesday was a bit different. I got iPad out to buy rugby 7s tickets for Sunday evening at Glasgow 2014 commonwealth games (medal night). After the mess up week before I was braced for a while. It didn't happen. I got on straight away and got ticket I wanted within a few minutes, brilliant. It was same morning Mark Bennett got named in Scotland 7s team.

My iPad beeped at 11.30am, lunch with Frank 12.30. Ah, I was going to be late. Got showered and phoned Frank to get him 1.00pm. We went to Abbotsford and it was very good.

Thursday was training and my Saturday morning rugby 7s ticket came. I got text at 8.00am to say it was coming today recorded delivery. I went and voted 8.30am before postie came. It came 11.00am

Friday was normal (first in about a month).

Saturday I went to Mauchline Holy Fair. Stalls were good, even ww1 part. Jai Mcdowall was his normal greatness.

Worst bit of day was children letting off stink bomb at bus stop and on bus home.

Sunday was usual at home day for youth, we had our games and I was away from club 3.00pm. Saw Vendetta later. Good to see them again.

Monday I was down in club at 5.00pm for bank holiday. So at 9.45am I got bus to Glasgiw so I could see Open Training Session for Warriors. I enjoyed the session and it was nice to see them. No doubt good luck Saturday.

Today I went to Kilmarnock and Odeon to see XMen Days of future Past. It didn't feel like 2.30 hours in cinema. I enjoyed it.

Saturday is ladies day and 2 weeks later is youth awards day which are next things on my calendar.

Bye for now.

Just a quick blog on Sunday

Hello everyone, how are you all.

Well I thought I would talk about what's been happening.

Week past on Wednesday I had bug and didn't do much Thursday or Friday. Thankfully I got back to normal. Our p6/7 got invited to play at Scotstoun Festival a week past in Tuesday. As normal I dealt with admin stuff as that's when bug hit. We took 18 players with us, including new players. We wanted Warriors as a way to get numbers up. I think it has worked so far.

Also the club has had mention in parliament with Townhead Park Rugby Compliant 3G pitch. Lots of things happening with club in future.

Monday we had youth committee meeting, usual length.
Tuesday, it was royal quiz.
Wednesday, I was a bit bored and paid Glasgow a quick visit to do stuff.
Thursday was training and getting ready for Sportsman Dinner.
Friday was sportsman dinner. Gary Armstrong was brilliant. We had soup, steak pie and cheesecake. Wasn't down at club too early and enjoyed it. I decided to do black shirt

Saturday we were away to warriors. The start of the evening was great but when the rain came, it was horrendous. You thankfully don't see me up there on telly.

On the following few days it's WWE at Hydro in Glasgow. Pity Sheamus isn't going on Wednesday.
On Friday it's Wedding Reception, I can't goto McBusted or youth AGM.

So hope you are all good out there.

Thomas.

Well, away to Cardiff

As I had said before I was going to Cardiff for Wales V Scotland in 6 nations.

I got the megabus gold at Glasgow when it got there 10.40pm. I didn't take a bag. Just me In Scotland shirt, jumper, trousers and shoes plus jacket. I knew it was bunks but not everything.

That photo is after I got in. I had a gap that was shorter than my arm to get my legs in until I got help to move some of the net. Then I get my jacket over on right. You have to face the way your travelling. Behind me is a gap after the bunk is finished. You get a small pillow. You get eye mask. I plug earplugs in to try and sleep. As usual the wifi doesn't work but still listen to music. It took me until about 1am to get to sleep. The bus has stopped at 2am (no you don't get out). I try to go to toilet via going down other end of bunk. It was locked. When I get back in I lose pillow, bad mistake. I don't fall asleep again to 3am. We're at Birmingham 4am and get pillow back and I sleep to 6am when were near Cardiff (and woke up. We get out and I go for walk. Here are some photos
I then find a bar that serves breakfast from 7.00 and I get bacon roll and coffee. At this point I have decided I ain't getting megabus back up to Glasgow at midnight. I get that sorted and some of the Cumnock boys are coming out at 9am.

This picture was quietest the prince of Wales pub that day. It's me and Mick

We all start enjoying ourselves and later on I buy a ticket for the game, outside the pub. So just before 2pm I head to game.

That was level 6 view. As you can see it's Sunny. I then get into seating.

Then the rugby starts, apart from Stuart Hogg, that wasn't only mistakes Scotland made. Line outs didn't work. Kicking for penalties was wrong when you try and don't get them. At half time I thought it could be 60/70 to Wales but only ended 51-3. I just hope next time I see Scotland at rugby 7s were better.

When game finished due to how long it took to get out I couldn't get back in pubs until 7pm. At least Ireland won. I have a good end to the day and a great nights sleep. We all leave on bus around 11am and get back to club at 7,15pm. I enjoyed shower when I got home.

It was some weekend.

Some caps of @kirstymalcolm and @stvkellyann and movie stuff

Well its been a while since I did some caps so I am going to start with Kirsty Malcolm from Sunday on STV Next up one of my favourites, Kelly Ann Woodland, hope the small child is ok with her family now. Kelly Ann is doing breakfast bulletins this week. Its a very short bulletin so I can only get so many. Yesterday I saw 12 years a slave. It is the best film I have seen in years. Its violent, not for the faint heartened, but it is amazing from start to finish. It is only 9 sleeps now in my own bed until Cardiff and Wales V Scotland, yeah! See you all later.

Morning, it's Thursdays

Well it's been a small amount of time since I did one of these, I think it's time I did.

Well firstly on Saturday night, my cousin peachy died. I wasn't expecting it. The time I saw him out was my birthday party in rugby club. He leaves behind Julie his daughter, Aunty Margaret his mum and a whole group of us. Now it was Sunday morning just after 9am I got phoned to be told. I had been phoned a short while later this was announced on facebook on Saturday night, I didn't feel much then, but it wasn't one of my facebook friends. Later on that night at Sun Inn, someone said sorry about peachy and I asked when she saw it, she said last night. I told her when I got phoned and at this point I Am Angry (not to person telling me). Now if you know somebody is dead, will you think of the family and make sure they know before you put it on facebook, twitter anything. Be respectful. This is first time I have spoke about it on here, facebook, twitter.

It's the funeral next Tuesday at 2.45pm.

Right try and change subject. Let's move onto Monday now.

Nicola Mcalley, stv news in Inverness was having a word "dreich". Nicola favourited mine "deliveries"

It started with my ticket for #wweglasgow

Paying £60 for ticket means I'll be close.

Now the delivery I was expecting came (my address is blocked so everyone else doesn't see it.

Now last week I phoned BT on my landline to find out about infinity. It was just over £42 per month, which is about £6 more than what I was paying for normal broadband, so yes, let's do it.

Box got delivered on Monday around 1040am, installation was Wednesday.

I had Liz and committee meeting Monday night.

Tuesday as normal I gave Stuart to give WWE Smackdown and Raw. It's Elimination Chamber on Sunday and it's on normal sky sports, YEAH.

2pm was Stevie and jukebox and at 7pm it was 2nd team training. I went home and sorted my cables in computer (so I knew which one was old hub). I also managed to watch STV News in whole, live.

Wednesday I got up about 7am. On STV news Tuesday night, Jennifer Harrild did report on #holy spandex morph suits and augmented reality in them. Before 8am I did some capping.

Jennifer does a lot of serious reports, it's good for the guys and girls at Morph Suits being with these suits and I guess they did well since this was on Glasgow and Edinburgh bulletins (I checked Aberdeen, I didn't see it) of STV News. I certinally haven't seen Jennifer being carried by Spider-Man. A big thank you to Stuart Burns and John Mackay (the Real Mackay) for there replies on twitter.

I will move to Wednesday, it was about 9am work started on infinity and by 10am it was finished the installation.

Last night it was training. Today it's club twice.

Well I hope some of you learn from this blog and see you about.
