Prince Charles, Prince William and Princess Kate

For about a week and a half I heard the royals were coming to Dumfries House so I decided to go out and see them. Soem of the volunteers had been there since 7.30am. I got there about 9.30am. Following are the photos of it being set up. At 11am the Royals arrived after the helicopter went overhead With the royals moving upto new centre that was being opened, I disapeared. There was not a lot of bump for a Princess due at end of summer, I wish her all the luck in the world.

Update on weekend there, sorry it's rugby

Well I promised you guys I would have a busy weekend. I was right. Now I know I don't normally talk all rugby, but after last weekend I need to this time. Friday went down to club before 2.30pm for U18 girls leaving after that. It was a very nice 30 seater from Liddells. We left at 3pm. We got to Murrayfield in good time. The traffic in wasn't too bad. The lassies were on 4g pitch and warmed up beside it. They did lose 39-17 to Gordon Schools at Huntly, but they were a very good side. The girls got runner-up medals and we headed back to Cumnock. Harry has been with me on all the trips this weekend and he took photos you have to be a member of the website to be able to see them as is the rule with all u18 pictures on our website. We got back to Cumnock at 10.04pm and that was day 1. Next day the 1st XV were away to Moffat. Tober was last to arrive at 11.20am, but Bobby even beat me to club and had the gear ready for 10am (but I did get an email at 9.30am at home I needed to put on website, straight away). We were travelling by bus via Muirkirk and M74 down to Moffat. While on the M74 we were worried Moffat would be covered in snow because the M74 certinally was. Thankfully it cleared up and we got a good day. Even towards end of the game the sun was out. That picture is when we arrived in Moffat. The boys warmed up. The referee society gave us a national 1 referee as this was a top of the table clash. The match report can be read here We got a lovely burger and chips after the match. It was very good grub. We came back on our coach from Moffat after 5pm and got back to Cumnock Rugby Club at 6.50pm. I got a few enquiries if Sunday was still on by text. I told them what I knew (hadn't heard anything) and when we got nearer Cumnock with snow I understood why there was worry. The boys enjoyed the victory and I left club about 8pm and went up the street. I was home by 11pm as that was only the end of day 2 out of 3. I had Dumfries next day. Sunday morning I woke up 7.20am as we were leaving club at 9am to goto Dumfries Tournament. I already had a text saying Dumfries was ok. We got our buses on time and got to Dumfries by 10.30am easily. All the Cumnock teams did well and thankfully for me, Mark did the P4 report. The ground in Dumfries was muddy and I had black jeans on during day. I had to wash them when I got home. We saw a lot of snow near Sanquhar when we came back up, but we were back at club 3.20pm. I went home and went and lay on my bed after that weekend. I got some sleep before my phone rang at 5.20pm and watched some telly before coming to computer at 8pm for match reports. I had more photos which I needed to upload and send on for Chronicle. I spent 2 hours on computer last night and an hour this morning. So that is the end of that rugby weekend. This is a little excel sheet what the 1st have left. Tonight I have a committee meeting at 7pm so I will catch up on some telly today. I finish with some Biffy Clyro as when Tober asked me a question Saturday on bus and my reply was "I have music on" as I couldn't hear him fully (I had earphones on).

Well here we go again.

Well I thought I would talk about the weekend there. Lunch was good last Wednesday and I am glad people found the review good. Thursday was pretty good, even with the usual with training at 6pm, by then we knew the 2nd team wasnt playing and so we set up for Saturday. A lot of people must have watched the game at home or Edinburgh as club wasn't busy. Friday was a bit mad at times. I knew there was a party down at club in evening and got asked to let buffet in. The hall got set at the appropriate time (inbetween capping) I left the club about 8.30 after watching some of the scotland U20 game vs Wales. I had fun up the street that night (even dancing). Saturday afternoon I was down in club for scotland game and helped people get ready for another party in Saturday night. I went home at 5pm and stayed in and watched telly and didn't even go out. I was getting up about 7.30 Sunday morning. Sunday in Cumnock was fine until on the bus upto Uddingston the roads got very white, we got there it wasn't white (yet). The players had to get changed in portakabin. The team went down to play and about 10 minutes in a blizzard started. The game was stopped. The team were not going to get frozen. This is a picture from out at the clubhouse (which was open now) when we got over there. We came back to Cumnock for 2pm and I went and ate something before I was back at club at five oclock. I sang bad again at karaoke last night in Sun Inn. Today has been catching up with NCIS: LA and Hawaii 5-0 and top gear Africa and well done James May on finding source. This week should be quite until the weekend when it is all rugby. Friday the girls teams are playing at Murrayfield in the evening, Saturday the 1st XV are playing Moffat and there is a bus there and Sunday is Dumfries Mini Festival (I hope the weather is better). So next weekend will be busy. Everyone seems to be liking the pony advert, but if you like a different version, try tgoat's 1 last thing, raw is starting at midnight UK time with the time changing in america, thankfully my sky+ already knew that.

Lunch at @waterfront_ayr today

I went for lunch today and I have added this to tripadvisor Decided after viewing Trip Advisor this morning I was going here with friend for lunch. Got a table straight away (no reservation) and got juice £2.05 (average for ayr). I ordered Haggis, Nepps, Tatties as starter and friend had Melon (no photo). Took 5-10 to come out. It came very well presented. I had at a previous night elsewhere had haggis and this one looked quite a lot different. It wasn't very warm but it was great consistency, could get the flavours great. Next I had chicken after only waiting 5-10 minutes again between courses. We arrived 12.40 and left 1.50pm for 2 courses. Chicken had red cabbage, which was great, some mashed potato and a new potato with some gravy and green beans and carrot. All were cooked great. The plate also came out warm and was the perfect size. Previous time I went for lunch elsewhere, portion size was too big, this was perfect. My friend got his Cumberland sausage about same time and it had potatoes as well. he enjoyed it as well. Desert menu was brought out, but we had both had enough, just perfect. I would recommend this to friends to try out. It cost £33 for the 2 of us. Normally I would moan at paying that much, but the food was worth it, the servers were great, even checking during meal if it was ok. I can't complain about it (which is good). I saw their boards about being on facebook and twitter but their card doesn't show their twitter name @waterfront_ayr. If you read this, you may be changing that.

Well lets talk again

Thanks for looking at my last blog. Right first the one ronnie Thought I would give you a laugh. Well on Monday the rugby meeting went fairly well. I got details for Tillicoultry which Morton helped with. On Monday I also watched the Royal Rumble. I am glad John cena did well, but he does know the technique how to get rid of the big man. Tuesday some of the snow hit. At 11am it was slush in Cumnock but by 3pm it was ok. On Tuesday a also started doing my bit on club burns supper I did even a bit of capping of Sport. Its Katherine Downes and Katie Gornall.
Then yesterday I headed to ayr for lunch. Me and Frank went over to Flannigans at Prestwick. I had the chicken and rice soup which was very nice and I followed by Steak pie. Now the food was perfect temperature but on this occasion there was too much. We did have training at 6pm so I couldnt eat too much. It had about double the usual amount of steak I see puff pastry on top, good as well, about 8 potatoes and a side dish for veg. Great portion, just too much for me. Now when I was travelling to Ayr I got fixture changes so when I got home I sorted out my spreadsheet. Scotland fitba team did not bad last night after we finished training. Last Resort finished on Monday as well and it was a good finish to the series. I wasn't sure it was going to have a second series but it finished everything. Today is quiet busy with club twice probably and a jab this evening. Have a good day.

Well its been a while since I blogged

Well I havent really been blogging much have I, I am still busy with twitter and club stuff. Most of the club things recently have affected by too much rain or freezing, so not a lot of games. Some of my other stuff in club has been keeping me busy, trying to tell folk about iphone apps for pitchero
I also decided recently to stop giving TC's stuff for facebook for various reasons. I am also glad I aint going to any of the 6 nations games. After the autumn internationals and the performances there I didn't like Scotlands chances. After watching England beat Scotland on Saturday and Italy beat France on Sunday I definately don't like our chances. Back in January I was up at a Warriors game 4th January where Glasgow played well and so did the Cumnock p6/7 at half time. On the telly front, still enjoy my usual programmes, NCIS LA, NCIS, Hawaii 5-0, Top Gear, lots of news. Those programmes came in very handy last week with a round in royal about adverts, which I got nearly all the answers in, on Wednesday night quiz a lot was on 2012 and even though Labrinth and Emilie Sandie I got wrong, we still won the quiz. On Friday there I went and saw Les Miserables and it was great. I admit it, I cried at times but it was epic from start to finish. Then I had an idea in the Sun Friday night, I was going to old skool at Town Hall on Saturday and after halloween I said if I
got 10 likes/retweets I would wear it, it got more than 10. Now I went upto Sun and wore the tutu and leg warmers in there and went upto Town Hall, Shaun somehow thought I was joking and I quickly got changed into normal gear and put it in my coat. After some great tunes on Saturday night I went down to TC's and got asked to put it on, I had a better idea, and bought them drink and they wore it and posed for this photo
I think it looks better on them. I know I aint smiling in the photo, but I was at least in my head. So here is hoping I remember to do this more and see you all about. I have a youth committee meeting tonight and Wednesday head for Ayr, I hope I dont get hail going down.
