Ladies in Red

Morning all, I decided today to do some telly blogging and over last day lots of ladies have been wearing red, so this is why I did a blog, I do like red. See proof. Right I will start with Rebecca Wood from Midlands Today. I was on iplayer last night before about 8.30 and Midlands Today was already there. At this point Aston Villa were losing 2-0 against Arsenal (it finished 2-1) and Rebecca normally only does Fridays, but here she was in red, so I did some caps. Shefali who normally does Midlands Today is on holiday. Next I saw Caroline Henderson on twitter talking about new wardrobe on her blog. Now Caroline used to work as sports reporter at STV News in Edinburgh and was one of my favourites, so the following caps are not new ones but its Caroline in Red Dress so enjoy and if Caroline reads this, you are very welcome. Next I somehow saw some World Business Report with Sally Bundock and she was wearing red as well, so here are some caps from her. After going back to bed, I checked my recordings and Kate Kinsella was in red as well. Now I remember when kate was called sunflower kate on twitter, now its just Kate Kinsella but even though she is a mum (remember I am a single bloke) she can still look this great. Now I know she can't wear green in virtual BBC London studio but this is just great. Now next one I am cheating a bit, its Helen Skelton on BBC Breakfast on the red sofa wearing a red scarf. Its been a while since Helen was on BBC, so I did some this time as well. Also I have put all these caps on a youtube video. I hope you all have a good week.

Now it's Sunday 12th January

Well I typed that last blog about midnight Friday.

Saturday I got up at 8am and had shower and stuff. The pavements were a bit icy when I went and bought some new boots

I bought a hat as well. Kevan Aitken had gave me a voucher at my birthday so it got used. Boots were great. At about 10am I discovered u18 game was off but 1sts and 2nds were both on.

So Everyone was just about on time apart from Tober being last as he was getting sweddy. I got a lift to lanark from Donald Hunter and left 1115am. We got there about an hour later. We had about 20 in team and I hoped we were going to have good victory. I passed Paul Miller my phone so he could update club twitter. Jungle got injured very quickly so Andy McCrorie was on quickly. Donald Hunter got injured finger so he was out. It wasn't going to be a good day. Also Lanark pitch directly faced sun. I've never had sun in that position before. We were 3-0 up at half time. Lanark scored one penalty and somehow the boys couldn't score. It ended 3 each. It wasn't my favourite match as I disagreed with Tober quite strongly (understatement) on 1 point. After the game I decided I wanted a good night. Told Rab what had happened and got today (Sunday) to not go to training. Me and Tober are ok now. Last night after starting in rugby club I went to Sun inn, royal hotel, craighead, dagmar and pizza for supper. Let's just say I needed that lie in.

The 2nd team were down 22-0 at half time but won 2nd half 7-6 so well done to 2nd team on battling at Marr 3rds. That was a positive yesterday. There is 1 thing I said yesterday about our senior 1sts "you can presume nothing" I presumed like others cumnock would win, it didn't happen. Sometimes you can presume something, but usually your wrong.

Thank you for reading and see you about.

It's Friday 10th

Well how are we all, let's talk about general stuff.

I did a review on mini shan't in when me and frank went.

My friend took me here for lunch last week. I had coriander soup and it was ok. Friend had pate and he said it was ok. We got to main courses and was very impressed on what followed. I had ordered steak pie and had full steak pie and then some. Veg was perfectly cooked as well. It was a full plate. My friend had chicken and was very warm for him as well. Now it was only just over £30 for two of us so these meals were great value for money.

Adam Gilbert one of the boys who play in backs in 1st team works there.

Well let's talk about Christmas. I had large Xmas dinner at my cousins in Cumnock. Got a Christmas jumper, only 1 problem, I don't like them. I never put it on.

On the following Monday I got new telly fae some of money I got. I was up from 7am, I still don't like that. The delivery came early afternoon.

We got through to Hogmanay just about. Went to club around 8pm. Some of the boys were down before going to JT. They did do this to horn.

That's Campbell incase you don't know.

We had buffet, karaoke and music from Blair. I was there to about 2.20am.  I didn't get up until the afternoon.

What I watched a lot of was rugby on bt sport and football on bt sport and sky. It gave me something interesting to watch.

I have also booked some tickets for this year. The most recent booked is The Lafontaines supporting All time Low at O2 abc in Glasgow in March. It wasn't even £30 for ticket. Next event is wwe at SSE Hydro and it's for WWE. It's nearly costing £70 and £40 for Ant and Dec Takeaway. Both seats are on floor. I hope it's worth it.

I got the cold after new year but I ain't sneezing as much, it's getting there.

Saturday the rugby (at least the now) the live rugby starts again. 1st team at Lanark, 2nds at Marr 3rds and under 18s at Greenock. Here's hope for lots of good results and games and performances. I am away to Lanark of course.

Last bit on this blog is the pictures put up at my birthday party. Thanks to Donald Hunter for his hard work.

Bye for now.

Non telly stuff including my 40th birthday.

Well that's the telly stuff by now, so just some chat now.

I haven't done a blog since before my birthday. I will start this from Friday and the busy day before the party. I was up at 6am to head to Ayr at 8am (yes I know that's early).

Got back to Cumnock 11am after echo and already had something to put on website. So did that and went and saw mum who was up in barshare. Got news about Arran being off (I wasn't going anyway) and updated FB. Got home and had more news to update. I was tired. I got lunch from coffee pot and went home. I had a snooze for an hour as I was heading to club from 430pm. Got visited at 3.30 and got ready to head down. Was usual to 7pm and then watched Glasgow v Exeter on my phone with jungle. It was at that point I definitely knew after a busy Friday I needed to pace myself Saturday (the party).

So Saturday I watched Man City v Arsenal on BT Sport at home (it was a great game). Picked the shirt I was wearing. Watched fitba scores going in. I got ready around 5.00pm and was down just before 7.00pm. The 2nd team had won that day which was good. Most people were in club by 8.30. It was a great night, most people enjoyed it I think. The problem I kinda had was seeing everyone. For everyone that gave me a card I handed it to bar staff to keep hold for me. I think there was about 60/70 there including some coaches, senior players, family, the phamphs (my quiz team at royal Tuesday nights). I didn't check most of the cards Saturday night, I did that Sunday morning. A big thank you to everyone who gave me cards, money. Thank you! Amie Dunlop did the cake
Also thank you to Alex Dunsmuir for the speech about little old me (sorry it's just on facebook). Also the folk round club had contributed for a present for me. Now a few days earlier Tober had asked me about tablet computers and I told him what I thought. So Morton gave me a iPad mini at the party. A 64gb wifi one. How can I put it, I am typing it on my iPad mini. At 1130 Blair finished the music and I think I had sat for 20 minutes in total, so I was tired. Now some people may think I'm a bit of a party pooper leaving then with folk in bar. I thought it might make it easier for staff. It didn't,  it closed at 1am as I discovered.

Next morning I was at training so that plan worked. Tuesday I went to Kilmarnock to cinema and it was ok. Worst bit was waiting for bus home. If was 1505 bus I was waiting for. Now last bus before that left 1415 and so a lot of people were waiting for it and it went in wrong stance so after waiting for a long time. I was in back of bus. I was glad when I got home. Quiz that night was good as well.

Wednesday was quiet and rest of week I have been able to pace more.

So I hope everyone has a happy Christmas and see you about.

Television stuff to start today

Well I think I had better do 2 blogs today. Well I am starting with STV News and all this is about dark chocolate with Gordon Chree having to eat some So John and Raman had loads of words about it. I am also going to say now on Saturday I saw Anchorman 2 at Ayr and enjoyed it. Now I turned over to BBC Scotland and Christopher Blanchett was talking about upcoming winds (and yes when I was outside today it was windy). Now I was just going to do guys on today blog only but the St Johnstone vs Celtic story got my interest. Last night Celtic had said the ban was lifted. The ban was lifted this afternoon and I could see Jane Lewis getting some bad comments so I added Jane to this blog. I dont like to see journalists getting slagged for doing their jobs as you could see with Wendy Hurrell earlier in the year. Bye for now.
